I think I will be fine. I always get more done when I am under pressure.

My plan...buy what we forget once we get to Florida. We are coming down two days early so I should know what is missing by the time be get on board.

Anyone know if there is a good "what to pack" list out there. I think I will make a master list and check off as I pack.

I am so scared I am going to forget one of the kids/pets.:lmao:

OH!!! And just in case I missed it somewhere...... ONLY 1 MORE MONDAY AFTER TODAY!!!!!! :yay:  :woohoo:  :yay:

Robby has a similar story with my dad, his DFIL, that he'll have to share after a few drinks as well. Needless to say, it sounds like we've all had a few "Kodak Moments".
Jim will have to tell the story of our former next door neighbor and the butcher knife!

Ahh, but today is my last Monday! YESSSSSS!:yay: I am so ready for this trip!

My DDIL made a really great packing list--but then she packed it up with the tent and sent it off to Fort Wilderness:rotfl:. So, we started a new list.

I am so happy for you that today is your LAST Monday. I know you are going to have the best time before the cruise. I wish today was my last Monday. This week will bring my last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.:cool1:
Did you ship your tent? Are you bringing it on the cruise?

Yes, we shipped the tent and most of our camping gear, but we won't be bringing it on the cruise. The rest of our family (DS, DDIL and DGD) are staying at Fort Wilderness for a few more nights after we sail. They'll pack everything up and ship it back home again.

I just had the nicest phone call!

Way back in July I helped a former co-worker set up her first Disney Cruise. She took the Eastern, and just got back after staying at WDW for several days after the cruise.

She had the best time, and called to tell me every detail of her trip. Now I'm REALLY excited because she made it all so real!

Upthread people were talking about sleeping attire. DH and I still sleep in the buff. Our DD has seen us both naked since birth and we just do not make a big deal about it. There is a brunch this coming Sunday and the invite says you must come in your PJ's. I had to call and say, 'Um we don't have any.' She said sweats would be just fine.

We are still waiting on our docs to come from our TA. They went to her first and she sent them to us. They did not come on Saturday so for now we just wait.

Vegas was a blast and now we are making plans to go back at the end of March right before DD's spring break. I hope we can get someone to watch her.

It was a very exciting weekend of football. Did anyone watch the TN/KY game? Four OTs!!! Too bad they won since UGA will now not play LSU this weekend for the SEC championship. My Foutlaw is a Mizzou fan so we were up late watching that game and now Mizzou is number 1!!!

Sure, I'm still learning a lot myself, but I'd be glad to talk "shop". I'm sure Brack and Mr Hug would as well.

That will be great! Hubby usually is just sitting around while I talk to people - I am the more outgoing one - but when he can talk about a shared interest with someone it is great! The camera has given him something to focus on while in Iraq this past several weeks since he got it. He has been trying it out a lot on cloud pictures mostly because he says there is not really much else to take pictures of (they have restrictions to some extent)

The Nikon D40's a great camera! :thumbsup2 I recently was buying my first DSLR and I had to decide between that one and the Pentax K100D. I ended up going with the Pentax because of price difference and I heard such great reviews from some over on the DISPhoto board. I ended up getting the K100D with the 18-55mm lens, the 50mm f/1.4 prime, and the tamron 75-300mm zoom lens. Add to that a tripod, 6Gb worth of memory, a camera case, and a case for my tripod, and Photoshop Elements 5.0 and I'm just about ready I think!! :lmao:

ok you totally lost me but I am sure my hubby will understand everything! He is a network guy and he looses me with computer talk all the time!

I gave the list to my sis and mom. My mom has gotten EVERYTHING on the list. Two or three of some things! :scared1: :headache: I had to call her over the weekend and explain that there really is no need for THREE over the door shoe hangers! Did I mention that she is 82, not very experienced with travel and very, very cute? :cutie:

My docs came! My docs came and I am completely UNDERWHELMED!

Maybe I am spoiled, but I am used to this shiny booklet with great pictures and descriptions of excursions, etc. All I got were the immigration forms and something that looks like airline tickets of old. Oh and luggage tags.

I can't believe how close we are!! It really hit me when I realized that, if I'm going to ship a package to the port ahead of time, it has to go this Thursday!! I could probably get away with Friday, but I'd rather it sit there an extra day than get delayed and have it not show up on board. Then no one would get Secret Mickey gifts. :sad1: So it has to get there on time!

I got my skirt cut out and one seam sewn over the weekend. Then I had a bobbin issue. :rolleyes1 But I think I've gotten it straightened out now and should be back to sewing tonight. Hopefully I can finish it tonight or tomorrow. That will give me time to still go shopping for something else in case it turns out horribly. :lmao:

Anyone else making up lists with last minute "to dos?" :dance3:

I got the other book with all the excursions and stuff in it a month ago from my TA all in a fold over disney doc keeper thing.
