Interesting statement on the Disney Cruise website:

If you require a reservation for larger parties, please visit the Palo team once aboard ship for availability of the Palo Private Room

If we do not get a table before hand, I think we will try to get a group together that we meet on board or our table mates and ask about the private room once on board. I wonder how many seatings there are at brunch. I know I had a bunch of times to choose from each day when I made the dinner reservations. That statement makes it appear that the private room is available for booking once you board.

Just got a call from DCL!!

Beth and Jim
Jason, Cindy, and parents
Jennifer and Bill

You are all confirmed in the private room at Palo for brunch on Dec 10th at 10:30!!

Also there will be my DB, DSIL, DSis, and DSis' friend!

DCL will be cancelling your private Palo ressies - Beth maybe that's why they were in your booking.

The rest of you who still need brunch, log on now!!

Uh, oh yeah, I'll be there too. :rolleyes1

That's awesome news! We weren't able to book a brunch through the website, they were all full when we got our 60 day opening. So that's good. I'll have to update my calendar now. Can't wait to pig out on delicious brunch with you all! You're all going to see how much I love bacon! :)

I don't know who I'm pulling here, by quoting myself, but I know several of you have done it... :)

I'm going to reserve nursery time for our little guy. I'm thinking from 10am to noon for the brunch... Does that sound about right?

No brunch available here either. :sad1:

I even called DCL and said I knew the private room had been booked by some people on the DIS who had been called and they showed no availability either. :sad2:

I wonder if there were some folks who were online right when they opened up.:confused3 Either that or their system hasn't refreshed. I'd keep trying.

On the Med cruise it took me months to get the excursion that included climing the tower of Pisa. When I could finally book it I had to book DD and myself one at a time.

So no one knows how many seatings there are at brunch? Hmmm. I guess it is off to the main boards.

You are just like my in-laws. They consider my boys their grandchildren. At a NYE party a few months after our wedding, I was pregnant with DD. Some friends of bil congratulated in-laws on their upcoming first grandchild. MIL looked at them and oh, this isn't our first, have you met our 2 grandson's, they are right over here. I felt very very lucky to have them as in-laws.

That is a wonderful story!

I just saw the commercial. They are soooo cute.

Mantra ...we need no new stuffed animals...we need no new stuffed animals....

I have to tell that to the kids and GRANDPARENTS! I have three trash bags in the attic full of stuffed animals.

Haha, now I'm double quoting myself, that's got to be a first! Anyway, I've got to move our ehem "Rasul reservation", we had that from 11 - 11:50 on the 10th ;)

Well thanks anyway for the report. I guess we now HAVE to be there at first opening to get that early boarding card. DH wants to sleep in and get the most out of our room at the Inn.:headache::rolleyes:

Hahhahaha DD and DH will be on their own for dinner as I endlessly refresh until I see an opening for Brunch.

You've just pulled an. . . Angie :lmao:

For those that have done the Brunch in the past, how long do they let you stay in there? We are curious what the duration of Brunch will be too. Thank you in advance!

Ah yes, an Angie!

Anyway, I just checked, and the only open Rasul appointments are one shore days at the three stops... I'll have to consult with the little lady to see if we want to cancel the Rasul.... There's no way I'm canceling Palo Brunch :)

Jason: :lmao: You are too funny!

Too bad our DD5 won't be with us at the Brunch. She may be a small fry, but she loves her bacon. :rotfl: We don't go to buffets that much. So, our kids had a field day at breakfast and lunch on the cruise last time. You'd think we don't feed our children. :dance3:

So because of the WGA strike, there will be no 24 this year. And it looks like LOST may be moved to next year. And Heroes ends in early December. The 2nd I believe.

If they move LOST to next year, they may as well cancel it. I think if the strike goes on for a long while, DVD sales are gonna go way up!!
