Well, let's see--when I was at WDW in March I took 1 GB of pictures a day (filled my memory card). I think I'll bring my laptop or it will cost me a fortune!

We have the same problem!

Beth

Good point! The CDs are only 800 mb

We are going to work on our will this weekend. We do not have a blended family and our finances for now are simple. With us flying away from DD next weekend, we need to get our wishes known. Four years too late. :sad2:

We would never want our state decided what to do with our child much less our money.

Dh and I both got our flu shots, so no one will have to worry about getting it from us.

I got the shot and so did my daughter. My son did not get one and I am not sure I will get one for him. My daughter ended up with a temp of 104, she does run high temps.
My son could not get the shot because he had MRSA. Yes, he was diagnosed the day it was making all the news. I really hadn't paid much attention to the news, only that kids were not making it. When the doc told me that was what he had I teared up. From the news reports, I thought we were looking at ICU and death. After she resassured me, our pharmacist reassured me and my best friend (epidemiologist at CDC in Atlanta) checked with the main guy dealing with MRSA I felt a little better.
Maybe I'll rush out now and get the shot. Is flu a problem on the cruise?

We recently changed and updated our wills. They still had child care arrangements for our son. He's 32 now, and his wife didn't like the idea that his aunt and uncle would have custody of him!:rotfl2:

I hope all is well with the kiddos regarding dr. appt. or did they get a flu shot/mist?

We need to get our flu shots. But, we are all at the beginning stages of a cold. So, it will have to wait until next week. Bill is the only one of us that had gotten his flu shot so far. :scared:

- Jennifer

No, just a rash on them both. Gotta love public schools :)

I've got to call our insurer tomorrow to see when and where they're doing the free shots / mists. Cindy doesn't want one, but I'm getting one and so are the kids! :)

Roses! My favorite!

I must be off... I need to go over to my mom's house and try on my wedding dress. Hopefully my efforts have been paying off. At David's Bridal it was like that scene out of Gone With the Wind, where scarlets is being laced into her corset, except i am lying in the floor and my mom is yelling "suck it in!":rotfl:

Aww...I was getting all dewy-eyed about you trying on your dress then you brought up the Scarlett image...:lmao:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :scared1:

- Bill

Bwa ha ha ha. I'm telling HR!

Congratulations on the pirate: Bill!

I was on the phone with DVC. I forgot to tell ya'll that I already added on more points at AKV! :woohoo: I bought 110, and got 100 incentive points!

So tonight I was booking 4 nights at Tokyo Disneyland Ambassador Hotel for April, and 7 nights next Sept in a 1BR Concierge at AKV. PLUS my waitlist came thru for BWV after the cruise. I was in a 1BR the first night and a studio the second, but now I have a Preferred View Studio both nights.

Next Saturday I'll call and try to get on the Member cruise. If I don't get through, I'll move my AKV ressies to October and just keep the Halloween cruise on the Magic. (not too shabby for a backup plan, huh?)

Emi, here's a bouquet for your efforts and our undying gratitude!

:flower3: :daisy: :flower2: :rose:

Thank you!! :goodvibes

Maybe you could add some Disney magic to your presentations and keep everyone's attention! I would come to that class.

Last year when we were on the Magic in October there was something going around. The cabin across from us and one down from us was quarantined. The nurse/doctor I saw a couple of times at their door. The crew was wiping down railings where ever the children went. I think they may do this anyway. Someone was at the ice cream station giving out the ice cream and was not there in the beginning of the cruise.

Bill is like a little kid in his meetings and training sometimes. Instead of passing notes they send IMs to each other. There is one of his coworkers that never turns off his cell phone during meetings. So as a joke, Bill called the man during one of their "big wig" meetings. Bill said it was located in a large room full of people and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. He said that man was so red in the face. :rolleyes1 You'd think he learned his lesson. :sad2: Nope. During their next "big wig" meeting, Bill called him again and sure enough the man's phone rang again. :lmao:

I love my little joker.:jester: As long as I am on his "good side". :lmao:

I established a Trust and keep all my assets in it. It makes things very simple, and ensures that your assets are managed if you are incapacitated or dead.

My son and I got sick on our cruise last November. Really sick. The baby got sick 24 hours after we were home and ended up in the hospital. I was concerned when we first got on and saw a kid throwing up at the buffet. We had gone down the line right after her family. I will be wahing everone's hands next this time after we go down the buffet lines.
They did the same thing on our trip with the ice cream, I did not see the quarantined rooms though.

It's madness I tell you! I did find out that even though you can only book 11 months out with points from that specific resort, you can bank and borrow to get the points you need. So even though I only have 110 AKV pts a year, I was able to combine my 2007, 2008 and 21 pts from 2009 to get the concierge, so that we can do the sunset safari.

Also, I am planning on bringing something to clean our room as soon as we get on board.

While MRSA is nasty, I think the Main Stream Media has gone way overboard with it.

We are thing on doing the vacation club. Will we get a better deal while on the ship?
