Bill is like a little kid in his meetings and training sometimes. Instead of passing notes they send IMs to each other. There is one of his coworkers that never turns off his cell phone during meetings. So as a joke, Bill called the man during one of their "big wig" meetings. Bill said it was located in a large room full of people and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. He said that man was so red in the face. You'd think he learned his lesson. Nope. During their next "big wig" meeting, Bill called him again and sure enough the man's phone rang again.

I love my little joker. As long as I am on his "good side".

We do stuff like that all the time. I used to ping my bosses computer all the time on odd ports to make his Black ICE firewall pop up alerts and scare him.

I'm required to get an annual flu shot. We went to the clinic this week and got ours. Well I got the shot (I'm old school), but DD opted for the mist (go figure)!.

We have a running gag between us. Whenever one of us has to go in for shots or to get blood taken, the other person always stands behind the technician, holds their hands far apart and says "big needle!" I started it when DD was younger. Rather than tell her it wouldn't hurt, I'd exaggerate it so much that she'd just laugh at me, give me a look like I was crazy, and shrug off the shot.

The medical folks must think I'm a mean Mom though, because I always ask if they can use the biggest needle they have on her.

When I asked about the side effects of the flu mist, they said it can cause grumpiness. I looked at DD, and said "how will I know the difference?"

You would not know if the room was quarantiened unless you saw the parents talking across the hall to another family and talking about the fever their sick child had or the nurse/doctor knocking on their door. I did not catch anything from that trip.

My heart goes out to any sick person, child or adult. It's especially bad when you are on a vacation.

We are thing on doing the vacation club. Will we get a better deal while on the ship?

No, it'll be the same deal that you can get on land. (I'd asked my guide about it and he said that the guides take turns going on the ships, so he was familiar with how it works.)

The current promotion is $10 off per point at Saratoga Springs Resort, $8 off per point at Animal Kingdom Lodge OR 160 extra points for the first year. You have to purchase at least 160 points.

But if you are referred by another member, you can get the $ discount AND the extra points, but you have to buy at least 225 points.

I'll PM you with more info, but just got a call from DCL that I need to tell everyone about!

It's madness I tell you! I did find out that even though you can only book 11 months out with points from that specific resort, you can bank and borrow to get the points you need. So even though I only have 110 AKV pts a year, I was able to combine my 2007, 2008 and 21 pts from 2009 to get the concierge, so that we can do the sunset safari.

We had thought about booking a concierge room at the AKV at least once to do the sunrise safari. How do you book the safari too through DVC? AKV is our "home" resort. But, we don't plan to stay there until next September.

I even called DCL and said I knew the private room had been booked by some people on the DIS who had been called and they showed no availability either.

Same with our DD who has two children that are biologically not hers, but are her husbands. They are our GKs just like the rest and love her a bunch. They do live with their mom and whoever the step-dad of the month is and DD and DSIL only get them weekends and for some extended visits when school is out. But, they come to DD when they need something because they know she loves them and will do whatever is needed to take care of them.

You are just like my in-laws. They consider my boys their grandchildren. At a NYE party a few months after our wedding, I was pregnant with DD. Some friends of bil congratulated in-laws on their upcoming first grandchild. MIL looked at them and oh, this isn't our first, have you met our 2 grandson's, they are right over here. I felt very very lucky to have them as in-laws.

We were staying at a hotel near the airport.. DH was taking DS & I to WDW for a week..

We had all just finished wrestling and fooling around and stuff.. DH takes DS into the bathroom and they come out all calm and sneaky like.. I'm thinking in my head now, oh jeeze double team, great I have no chance DS sits on the bed with his hands in his pocket.. all Smiley and Giggling.. He was 9 at the time.. DH kneels infront of me and proposes.. DS hands me the ring.. I hugged and kissed him.. then DH.. And I never said yes.. I was sorta teary eyed and choked up.. He said.. Does this mean Yes?

We had thought about booking a concierge room at the AKV at least once to do the sunrise safari. How do you book the safari too through DVC? AKV is our "home" resort. But, we don't plan to stay there until next September.

Well you can book now for September! When are you planning on going? We'll be there 14-21st, if we get on the Member cruise.

I think you book the safari thru the concierge at the resort. I'll wait to find out exactly when we're going to be there, and then will ask the question. I'll let you know when I find out.

I have refreshed and logged out and cleared my cookies and still no availability. I read that DCL said they "Will" be cancelling the private reservations. I wonder when. Maybe I need to check again at midnight.

I sure would like to get this done today and have that monkey off my back. My luck I am going to get Thursday which is not when we want. Then we will have to hope to get on early and try for Sun or Mon.

Thank you for the information Wendy. I'm not 100% sure what dates we are gong to be at WDW in September. We're not sure if we are going before or after our cruise. What hard choices we have. This is the life!

That's awesome news! We weren't able to book a brunch through the website, they were all full when we got our 60 day opening. So that's good. I'll have to update my calendar now. Can't wait to pig out on delicious brunch with you all! You're all going to see how much I love bacon!

I guess I should say, when I made that comment earlier, it wasn't really my birthday. I was just excited that I finally got a pirate and that was my happy dance! You know, kind of like, "Go Robby! It's your birthday! Go Robby!" Sorry for the confusion!!
