Interesting statement on the Disney Cruise website:
If we do not get a table before hand, I think we will try to get a group together that we meet on board or our table mates and ask about the private room once on board. I wonder how many seatings there are at brunch. I know I had a bunch of times to choose from each day when I made the dinner reservations. That statement makes it appear that the private room is available for booking once you board.
If you require a reservation for larger parties, please visit the Palo team once aboard ship for availability of the Palo Private Room

Either that or their system hasn't refreshed. I'd keep trying.

We don't go to buffets that much. So, our kids had a field day at breakfast and lunch on the cruise last time. You'd think we don't feed our children.
