everyone says the decorations at VWL are beautiful, I saw the GF on the travel channel and it was completely gorgeous with all of the decorated trees.
I would do the MVMCP I had the chance, we went to the pirate and princess party and walked on every ride, the boys kept asking where everyone went, I know that since it is christmas time it will be more crowded but this early in the month I think you should be alright.

I started my first "grown up" job :cheer2: out of school this week and i have been way to exhausted to get on here.
At the disney cm store they were selling a cruise line comforter...from one of the ships! i really wanted to get it (so i could turn my apt. into the magic when i get antsy for our cruise) but then the df had to point our how worn and stained it was (ewww!).
Oh the weird things one sees as a cm!

Seeing that our 599$ rate is better than my cm discount made me do a dance of joy though! :cheer2:

Was thinking about you, figuring it was a busy week! Glad you made it through!

And thanks for saying the $599 is such a good rate...I love knowing I got a deal!

Wow, Angie, I've got to say, that's a cool job. I've often thought I'd like to be a parent advocate, having navigated 'the system' fairly well for my ds (with a teaching and bureaucratic background), not that anyone would pay me to do it! It must feel good to have a job to help people like that, even though I'm sure the bureaucracy leaves you tearing your hair out on occasion.

There is the bureaucracy to deal with, there is the unreasonable demands/expectations of some patients to deal with, and then there are the ones you can really help and for whom you can make things just a bit better. Yes, it is a cool job and I do love it, but I am looking forward to retirement also! :woohoo: I've done this job for 14 years and I think I am close to burn out. It is a job that is constant - one after another - angry people. :headache: Most of them I can turn around and they leave my office not so angry, but it takes it's toll on me getting thru that one after another.

I went over the 1000 post mark today and didn't even realize it.

We had a rough day today. DH had to go to the Sex Pistols reunion concert thing last night for work. The part he didn't have to do is what ended him up in a cab, leaving his car in Hollywood, and waking me up at 3am when he came home. But he must have eaten something bad as well and was up every 30 minutes running for the bathroom.

I'm just glad tomorrow is Saturday and we get to have a nice, long sleep-in. :cheer2:

I don't know. I thought it would be nice to get a job helping people, so I am now in insurance. I have to say, most days it is a thankless job that just means more people think we're crooks and don't like the insurance guys! :guilty:

My DS, Trish, who is sailing with us is also in insurance business. You two could probably share some stories! ;)

There's a fast food commercial--maybe Subway? The guy is asking his colleagues if they want him to pick something up for lunch while he's at some burger place--one woman says, "Can you grab me a 'Can my butt look any bigger' meal?" Cracks me up every time.

Oh my goodness! We saw that commercial the other day and were just :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Has anyone seen the carpet cleaning company one with Toby the dog's new trick? :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: That one makes me laugh so hard I cry! :rotfl:

I've never done Weight Watchers either, but I needed to lose a few pounds so I can gain them back again. I eat salads and cottage cheese with fruit for lunch, and usually don't eat between meals anyway. I agree, though, that on Dec. 8 I will eat what I want when I want. I've never gained any weight on a cruise yet. Of course, Jim gained enough weight on our first cruise that he couldn't wear the pants he left out for that last morning, and had to leave the ship in his swimsuit because everything else was packed. Please, someone, ask him to tell that story when you meet him!

Beth

:lmao: :rotfl: Can't wait to hear the story! I have gained 10 lbs a year for the past 8 years.....lets see, we have been cruising DCL for the past 9 years. Wonder if there is something there???:confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

How funny y'all mention that, I went to lunch with my mom today and told her that I was ONLY going to drink water from now until Dec 8th., she looked at me and laughed but she said if she saw me drinking anything other than water she would call me on it. I usually eat pretty healthy but just can't give up the sweet 'texas' tea and dr. pepper. I was thinking about just eating a bowl of cereal for dinner instead of a full meal. I know a lot of people to loose a little bit of weight that way.

Cereal with fat free milk and water will take some weight off. DrHug lost 30 lbs in 3 months eating 30 grams of fat or less per day. Cereal fits right in there, for a couple of meals a day and for snacks.

We would probably be running up quite the tab on the drink of the days!! :drinking1

I have several boxes of Special K cereal just waiting for me to replace dinner with them. So far, it hasn't worked out too well for the Special K. :lmao:

ACTUALLY, it sounds like it HAS worked out well for the Special K. I bet that is one happy box of cereal!! :lmao: It's probably sitting there thinking, "Whew!! That was a close one!!!!"

:goodvibes Everyone have a great weekend!

I'll chat with you on Monday or Tuesday!

- Jennifer

BTW- Did we stop the Monday countdown?

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1::cool1: Only 6 more Fridays until the "Magic" begins. :boat: :boat: :boat: :boat: :boat: :boat:

We are still getting the Monday countdowns. I think you were off having fun at WDW and getting your first Welcome Home this past Monday. You probably missed it. :thumbsup2

my brain is hurting! But I have most of our details now worked out. Here is what we are ending up doing:

We will go visit several resorts and view the decorations (anyone have any suggestions of the best ones?) and will eat dinner at one of the resorts.

Krisann

I would do AKL for sure. It is so fun to walk out the back door and visit with the animals. And the decorations are cool too. VWL also does a nice job with the decorations. Beach Club also and you could see Boardwalk while you are there and maybe rent on of those 4 seater bikes for a half hour pedal around the lagoon. Just some thoughts. Cape May at Beach Club is a favorite of many people or Boma at AKL if you can get ressies.

In the spirit of Halloween..... I wanted to post what I did tonight!
IMGP0615.jpg

I'm trying to post the other one I did but it keeps displaying it WAY too big. I've tried resizing in on Photobucket and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!!!

I dunno... I always just go to photobucket, select the picture I want, click resize and then "message board" and "ok."

Is it not giving you the ok message?

Btw... love the Minnie pumpkin :goodvibes
