I can't believe we are now one week away. There is SO much to do this week....packing, haircut, car maintenance, and work. I am already having a hard time concentrating on work stuff....this next week is going to be next to impossible.

We are going on the April 22nd cruise as well! This is a Make a Wish trip for my DS - 9. We had our documents and travel itinerary delivered to us by our Wish Granters yesterday! Now, it all seems real.

It will be me, DH, DS-9, DS-9 and all three of the boys grandmas (two regular, one great). When the grandmas found out DS's wish, they all wanted to join us and be a part of it!

Can't wait to sail!!

Got to go back to the PILE OF PACKING and remove HALF!
Dawn - how many princess dresses are you brining for you DD? Mostly for dinner and Princess character encounters?

Yes-still meeting at the Promenade Lounge at 3 on Sunday! I can absolutely not wait to get away from everything--I love no cell phones!!!

I've started the packing process but I don't plan on finishing until Friday. My husband already thinks that I'm neurotic having an EXCEL spreadsheet with packing info on it.

Can't wait for my first "pretty" drink--I was pregnant on my last cruise.

Linda, funny that you mention haircuts... Fiona got a haircut this weekend (and poor thing cried throughout the whole traumatic process--she HATES her hair getting washed!!), hubby has to get his mop trimmed, and instead of cutting my hair, I'm going to just use a different shampoo! I give up--my hair has no body or volume! I should stop trying to fake it!

Ok, gotta get ready for the replacement fridge to be delivered. I am transfixed by the TV today... Got 2 laptops in front of me and the tv is on! *shaking my head at myself*

So the moving van just left... without delivering the new fridge. The "repair guy" was a no-show to disconnect the old one, so I didn't get my new one.

My mom says I'm just not meant to get the new fridge. Did I mention this has been going on for months?

Ok, I need food. Preferably chocolate... *rumbling around in the freezer*

Did we decide where we're meeting? Still gonna try to be there. With 4 year olds...it's unpredictable!

99% packed. Just have to throw in last minute things.

And I hear you on the HC...I was hoping to get away with not getting my daughter's HC...I think I may have to. Mine? Ugh...Hasn't been cut since before Christmas. Just don't have the time to get that done. Did manage a pedicure and brow wax though this past Saturday...That HAD to be done.

Don't worry, we've all been there... My brain's scrambled from excitement. I've been stashing all the trip info in specific folders for months to try and keep everything straight.

And I haven't even started packing yet... Oooooh boy! The woman with the confused looking hubby, an excited yet shy toddler, and 6 bags--yup, that'll be me!

Ok I"m heading home to do more PACKING tonight! Also finish door sign/decor, re-read all DCL documents, make sure photo copies of passports are secured and in place, clean out PURSE, update EXCEL SPREADSHEET for packing and carry ons (YES BRANDIE YOU AREn'T ALONE WITH EXCEL LISTS!! HA HA HA HA!!!), drink a glass of wine and massage my cheeks because I can't stop SMILING!!!! DAWN... YESSSSSS .... 6 DAYS!!!! YAHOOOO!!!!



DH is putting us all on AIRBORNE this week! Not one sniffle, cough or sneeze allowed he said !

So, it all started yesterday with wacky and wild weather. It rained, got sunny, got REALLY windy, got snowy and then it got DARK.....really really dark. The power went out several times yesterday, including last night just before Amazing Race. It stayed off. As it was pretty cold and Lisa uses a CPAP machine we headed off to a friend's house. We settled in there for the night and then their power went out. Needless to say, sleeping was challenging.....

This morning there were downed trees and power lines everywhere and school was on a 2 hour delay. My autistic teenagers REALLY needed to be back in school. They were off all last week for spring break and anxious to get back to the structure of school. Finally the bus arrived and then the power went out at the group home! It was on and off all day, making work on my computer hazardous.

On my way home my car began making a very ominous sounding noise. Now, this is the car that we had intended on driving to Florida. So, tomorrow I am going to be spending the majority of the day at the Toyota dealership praying HARD that it is not something too expensive. The more expensive, the less pretty fruity drinks I get on board.

So, the haircut waits one more day and hopefully nothing else will go wrong this week. Luckily the power at our house came back on shortly after we got home this evening.

We still do not have cable, but luckily dial-up internet is better than nothing.

Hope everyone who was in the path of this awful storm came through it okay.

YIKES Linda! Hope everyone is okay.

We had SO much rain...and even a little snow (nothing worth talking about), but it finally stopped.

Still 99% packed. Actually about 98.5% now...Kendall (DD) wanted to wear her purple crocs so I unpacked them so she could wear them. It was easier than listening to whining at 6:45 am.

Hey...I have a question. I FINALLY got my cruise docs, but it was a pretty light package...I'm assuming because I did everything online they just didn't re-send them to me...right?

I'm figuring the same things about the forms. We only had the Bahama stuff to fill out. Much easier than last time--I like online check-in so much better.

I called DCL to verify. They concurred that because I filled out everything online, they sent me the 'basic' package. Now, of course, you have to remember to print everything, but I think I have that covered too!

I'm also assuming I sign on behalf of my 4-year olds...

Still haven't packed, but I've now made a door magnet! I'm getting even more excited after looking for pictures for the magnet. I used pics from our WDW vacation.

Our door decor is almost done. Debating whether or not to attach more magnets or just use the magnets to hold the sign up onto the door.

Let's say my husband had alot of influence on our door signs.... think STEELERS!
