You can mail postcards from any of the Islands. The most fun place that a lot of people mail from is Castaway Cay. I think they have their own special postmark or something. Not that I've ever done that. I'm too damn lazy.

Unfortunately, you can't get on the Black Pearl - it's pretty cool to see though.

Has Mont. Co. cancelled school yet for tomorrow? You know how they will close school when the SLIGHTEST "weather event" threatens. Good thing they were already closed today for Primary Day.

Thanks for the welcoming words - I would love to meet you too - either in DC or on a future cruise. That goes for EVERYONE on this thread. Except for maybe MAD Mike, because if he and my DH got together, it would be unbearable for anyone in the area. No offense Mike - it's a compliment, really.

You should do Turbo Tax. We had an accountant do it for years, and every year cost more and more. So we decided to try Turbo Tax this year. It's WAY WAY cheaper than our accountant.

DH downloaded it two weeks ago, and spent a Saturday doing them. It was easier than he thought. It is apparently very user-friendly, and they have a phone number to call if you get stuck. We already got our MD tax return direct deposited!! It even told us that we withhold too much and we should change our deductions. But we'd rather do that and get big refunds than just break even or - GOD FORBID - OWE MONEY at the end of the year. I know the government is making money off my money that I should be keeping in the first place, but getting those big refunds this time of year is like getting a bonus!
