03/01/2008 Eastern!!

Oh Rani: Sorry to hear of your predicament. Is there any way you can reschedule?...you must really love your hairdresser to travel 2 hours to get there. Try to have a better day. Just think in 17 days you'll be sipping tropical drinks poolside.:goodvibes

Thanks! I LIKE my highlighter (I actually do my own cuts) -- but she's the only one who won't freak when I get super blond highlights put on very dark hair. My hair absorbs the color quickly and turns a lot lighter. The others will insist on putting on "light brown" highlights -- which, within a week, become 'no lights.'

So, I'll try to reschedule. Craig is being awesome about it and doing anything he can to make a reschedule easier....but if I show up with two-toned head -- you'll know there were no dates available for me!

Hey Guys- Especially my e-mail family........ One thing different than in my e-mail or for us cruise VETS............ The Bahamas Immigration Form that usually comes in your 14 DAy cruise documents is NO LONGER there as of Feb. 21st cruisers. The form is going to be on-line..... So for all of us who have filled our forms out on-line, you will now have to go back and fill out the form electronically. The date of arrival on your form will be March 7th for those of you who did not know..... That form needs to be printed out and brought to port. :woohoo: :woohoo: For you Virgin Cruisers, it is actually cool this is the case. That form was always hard to fill out in the little boxes and keep up with the slender white sheet of paper.:woohoo: :woohoo:

MRS. DAYZ- I will e-mail in regards to that PM.... I see now you are on your way out the door, if not gone already, so I will respond that way... I know you do not like PMs. Your Pal, Tink

Whew --- appointment for highlights has been rescheduled! YEA!

Johnnaif you are on this morning...could you please share your starbucks with Rani and Tink:surfweb: I think they will need a good cup of coffee to get them going this morning LOL!!!!!

Good morning to all!!!!

I was laughing when I saw this............ I was truly dragging yesterday and am this morning too. I decided that I can not be sleeping today even getting in after midnight and already awake.... I have to start rolling my clothes.........

Everyone must be busy packing today!!??? The boards are kinda quiet:surfweb:

Rani..I'm sure you will be beautiful!!!:cutie: Hopefully your weather is getting all the bad stuff out of it's system... so you will have good weather to fly out in 17 days!!!

Tink..how's the rolling going???

And to everyone else..hope you are having a good Wednesday!!!!!

Feiste..we missed your POD today :)

Another sigh of relief ---
The TSA lock keys HAVE BEEN LOCATED!
And they've been stuck on a huge keychain with a cow on it that when you squeeze him, he....we'll, you'll just have to imagine! Can't get lost!

And yes, I am now a little embarassed to admit, I have been rolling my clothes today.....but you'll all see, no wrinkles...

I made today my offically "start packing day". Have I started, Nope.

I've been planning this for so long, why am I dragging my feet now !

I'm still waiting for Rani to you tube how to pack !

Michelle

Tink,
I went online and can't find that darn Bahama Mama form to fill out anywhere! Do you know where it is?

Thanks,
Rani
:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

btw, did anyone notice how annoying this :laundy: is? She's smiling:confused: as she does the laundry? Give me a break!:sad2: -[/QUOTE]
Hey, who said that the laundry symbol :laundy:is a female?!? Since I am a single parent this week, I am just having a wonderful time with it. Of course, anytime I get to play with water, I'm happy.

Now as for ironing (never understood the concept) and dusting :confused3 (I just really don't notice dust - except maybe in the Haunted Mansion) THOSE would more than likely be female symbols!

It is so hard to read these posts at work and not be able to say anything.:headache:

Mike, saw Danicka Patrick's picture today. NASCAR is looking much better than I remember. Looking more kindly at learning a new sport.:teacher:

I am absolutely, under no circumstances doing one second of laundry for nine spectacular days! If needed, I may handwash pair of socks or so -- but that's the end of the spectrum --- this is MY vacation, too!

That's what us husbands are for. I usually (though admittedly not always) am the one to do laundry during longer trips to WDW. It makes me look helpful to my DW, when in reality it can be an escape from the chaos of the kids.

Do you remember a couple of days ago I was slightly mocking you nothern/western about our wonderful warm weather ?:cool1:

Well it's still not as cold but it is SNOWING !! It was 70 something two days ago and now it's snowing.

People here drive like nuts when it snows or ices. They scare me more then the weather.

Karm baby that's what this is.

Michelle

shhhh still haven't started packing instead the family played Wii.

We went to Michaels today and I got Ryan a foamy pirate eye-patch and pirate hat pirate: , so I finally feel like I'm accomplishing something towards the cruise.

I also got a thin piece of wood to make a door sign with. I have some magnet and the whole thing will lay flat in my suitcase, if I ever get around to packing it.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one. Okay, the getting away and quiet don't hurt.

We got stuck in torential rain at Disney last year. (I complimented the Polynesian staff that Disney was really good at the special effects of a rain forest.) We went to the laundry at the hotel and dutifully placed our shoes in the dryer. How were we to know the weight of a shoe knocking against the dryer door would open it.
I went to check on how dry the shoes were about 1/2 hour later. I found one of the other fathers placing his weight on the door to keep it shut. I thanked him (and if he's lurking - THANK YOU! -) then a took my place and continued to feed the dryer until all the shoes were dry. It took a few turns, but as noisy as it was, watching the shoes go round and round was almost like watching TV. It was bliss. Dryers don't argue. They do what they do. It is mind numbingly relaxing.

husbands doing laundry -- nope, not in this tribe.

husbands doing taxes, grocery shopping, installing floors and fixing up the house -- absolutely!

the answer to wet shoes --- crocs......

did anyone find the bahamas form?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

It will not be available on-line until the 18th. So you have to go back Monday or sometimes prior to the cruise and fill it out. It all fails, they do have them at port to hand fill out, just takes extra time. Have to run, it has started to snow here and I am needing to get home from the office.:hippie:

Good morning all. I awoke at 4:00 am with a nervous stomach. Where are my docs? We've never had to wait this long to get them before. Its not like we won't get on the ship but come on - where are they??

I also remembered something else to pack. Forgive me if someone has already mentioned it --- HIGHLIGHTERS. You must be able to highlight the favs on the Navigators! What if you miss a wine tasting?!

Feiste aka Jennifer - yes, that picture was in Costa Maya. That was such a great place. I miss the Western. :(

Norm went back to work on Monday night. He's worked two days of overtime already due to planes not arriving (works at UPS at the BDL airport). Here are my POD for him and Feiste...

I can't wait to walk thru this in Port just to embark :cheer2: ....

But we will probably need to hang out and play games first (note...this picture is from 2002 - Josh and I are much bigger now.

And finally, another favorite of mine :thumbsup2 ...

Yes, rest assured, the songs get worse in person! In fact, waterboarding is not necessary if the CIA and FBI institute my methods for my teenagers in class. If they don't listen, not only do I, but everyone in my class must SING everything they say for the whole day ----
and yes, if that happens, I rhyme EVERYTHING!:teacher:

Have a great day!

I swear I posted last night. I must have been dreaming. Off to the flower shop, for crazy Valentine's day fun. I am working with Marshmallow head, as I am still sick. Hopefully I can rejoin the real world tomorrow.
