Again, thanks for the warm welcome. I did try to read previous posts, but got confused and gave up . I have to say you are a great bunch! You may not want us along when I tell you the last time we disney cruised was when the SHIP CAUGHT ON FIRE! It is actually a humorous story in hindsight, along with the fact that I drug my husband to a production of "Titanic" about a month later. His only comment was, "this cuts a little too close to home!" Ha.

We're waiting for a big snow storm here...I can't believe we'll be in sunny tropics in just a few weeks! I keep trying to get out my summertime clothes to start packing but can't make myself do it when it's so cold out.

So I may win the prize for the least-prepared cruiser. I haven't packed a thing, but have a bunch of scrap papers with lists of things to pack. Now if I could just find all those papers...

WE GOT OUR STATEROOM ASSIGNMENT!!!

I have not had a chance to confirm it myself, but DW informs me that we got upgraded to a Cat 9 (nothing great, but not bad I suppose at a Cat 12 price), supposedly with 2 small portholes (which is two small portholes more than I had counted on). Stateroom number is 10## (which is probably in the keel, next to the coal and torpedo storage).

Micday..have you done the online registration yet?? It really does save alot of time once you get to the terminal...if you do do it online...don't forget to print it off and take it with you

Glad to hear everyone's doing well (or at least better). My DW is going for a conference for the next 4 days and started to come down with a cold today. She'll be home for a week after that, then gone again for a week.
I think we'll both be ready for a vacation after that.
I am still trying to fathom the packing, unpacking and repacking.
It will make the days between now and the trip fly by much quicker.
Rani, keep up the countdown.
Feiste, missing the POD's.
Anyway, I'll continue to lurk from work for a pick me up.

Okay, not that I claim to know most things and not that it matters that I talk to the people at DCL at least once a week if not more, (I like to hear the music and have actually gotton to know some of the reps personally ), but cruise documents do not arrive until 10-14 days prior to the cruise. They are printed 18 -17 days prior and shipped out 15 -16 days prior, so Michelle, I believe they really do not have them. So on day 18 & 17, I always get excited when the phone rings because I am hoping it is the up-grade fairy calling..... So if everyone holds on, they will be here soon.......
I then may panic, because Rani has not finished packing my luggage yet and rolling my clothes..........

Oh darn MAD FAMILY, I looked forward to the Verandah party..... Congratulations on relieving some of my stress............ Since I was the only one stressed.......... Now did you and Mrs. Mad get my e-mail about what underwear to wear on each day.

Okay, Tink has ordered us to all stay off the Boards, so I guess I can't say "Welcome" to the various newly announced cruisers.

Only if you are sick........ I do not want anyone to be sick at the terminal and refused boarding. Then who will get boarding passes 2 & 3? Especially my older family members (not referencing age). For example, BJ, Jen and Rani have all offered to watch our kids everynight after they close the clubs down at 2AM. So I need them all well. You (MAD) have agreed to bring them to dinner and Kim has agreed to get them dressed everyday, so I need everyone on the ship and well. Some type of way everyone is forgetting the assignments they have as we get closer. I remember mine, drinks in each hand by the pool...... I think I am ready...........

Now that Mike is getting SBC for waiting for his room, my Bahama MaMas are covered $$ at dinner, because we know the ship board credit should really go to me for loosing so much sleep over the room situation......
