now after reading the rest of the posts, I am of the strong opinion that you should just order a ton online so you can get excited when the packages come to the door ---I love htat!!!!

WE'd already booked our flights with southwest out of baltimore when DH happened to look at the flights out of DC and saw that we over spent by $170! Last night he called Southwest and they were SO nice - they changed the tickets free of charge and gave us Southwest credits for the difference...would have liked the cash, but at least we can still use it.

So there's a positive note for the day!

Good for you guys !! We are flying with Airtran and they lowered our flight, I called and got the $53.00 difference. We got credit too, does that mean we need to book another cruise so we do not waste our credits !

Congratulations to all of you for your airline credits. We are stuck here with Northwest as we are one of the bigger hubs and they do not allow a lot of the other airlines to even come here. We had to pay out a big $1600.00 for air. If the price was to drop, which it will not considering the flights are full, they still do not offer any credits. We actually even looked into driving to Chicago to take SWA, but that still was going to be so much more considering gas and another 2 days of travel.......

I think we should have Ron dress as the pirate and do a new member of the Village People.......

Mike, when making door signs do not put room numbers on them, because you have no idea when the up-grade fairy can strike. Oh, I forgot, you do not know your room number yet, because your over-paid TA has not told you. (Sorry, could not resist, next time remember matching underwear with me and DCL, overboard with the TA). "Hope you appreciate some humor in your situation). You do have a good no stress belief, too bad the rest of us have the opposite personalities.

Michelle, Ron here. Although I would be willing to be a Pirate, I must respectfully decline anything to do with the Village People or YMCA. I'm trying to change my image and I vow to keep my shirt on if I'm ever called up on stage again.

The kids club have activities until midnight. I think that around 10 in the younger clubs they start a movie and then the kids begin to wind down and watch that.

The Minnesotans are all about taking time for us this cruise. HINT HINT, one of the reasons we have the kids talking precruise. It usually takes them a little bit to make friends and since the first day out is a sea day, we say "let's get the party started". DD is a little older now, so we are not going to be pager worried. Last couple of cruises we were so stuck on the pager we would go to the clubs and I would sit in the back just in case it went off. This time, I know they are fine. So "Let's do it"...... (Go out that is).

Hey Ron I heard something about them replacing the 80's night with the Village People Night, once they heard you were coming on board..... No, in all seriousness, I did hear they cancelled 80's night on the boards, but I think they kept 60's and 70's. Maybe I will post a thread later to ask. If it is true, I guess I better stop my search for a Michael Jackson glitter glove and zipper jacket and my High Water flood pants. Oh Rani- did I not tell you something else to add to the packing list.

Brenda and Jen, have you guys packed the smores and tent yet? I wonder if that is heavy enough to get a HUGE HEAVY ticket slapped across it.

Everyone, where are the two Kims. We may need to call them to see if they are good. They have not been on for some time. Maybe we should drop an e-mail. By the time they come back to the boards they will not know where to start.

I will check in throughout the day as today is a chart, paper, phone call catch up day.
