03/01/2008 Eastern!!

Just got back from the Disney Store --- got myself a pirate t for the Pirate Party --- they threw in a free eyepatch --- so now we've all got outfits. Heads up -- they have 40% off the Pirate costumes in the store.

I'll just bring the floaties deflated - they don't take that much room and it will give DH something to do while I'm taking care of details. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah and can you believe I invited Mike to eat with us..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I guess I did not know what I was getting into. OMGoodness. Good think Melissa will be at the table too, to keep an eye on him......:lmao: :lmao:

Yeahhhhhh No fish Extenders. I just did not know how I was going to fit that into my schedule. I then thought, if they say yes, I have to then think of what to give everyone. I was thinking, okay, I will get a "real" orange Heavy tag across my luggage again. DH keeps saying "Just stay out of the orange and I will let you pack." I guess this weekend, I better start to actually pull everything from the closets and see what I have and what we need. We adult Minnesotans are not doing the pirate thing. We are saving that for the kids.......

I just came home for a quick minute. I have to run back out to the hospital. I will catch up tomorrow AM.

Have a good one guys........

Well I just ordered Madison and I some new shoes. Madison wears Crocs year round unless mean mom makes her put on tennis shoes.

I also got Madison a Dry snorkel so I can intoduce her to snorkeling ( I LOVE IT), I want to get certified to Scuba but Hubby has not warmed up to that. Maybe when Madison gets a little older and if she loves to snorkel like MOM we can do it together. I could also lose about 50 lbs.

Madison is dressing up as a pirate, James and I are not. Want to but I rather spend that money some where else ! Now if I could get to a disney store like Rani and get a t-shirt 40% off I'd probaly have one.

My DH and DD (10) are signed up to the Disney excursion "Captain Nautica's Snorkeling Expedition" on our St. Thomas/St. John's day. Are you thinking of doing this excursion too?

We have also reserved snorkel gear for CC.

Perhaps I need to make a trip to the Disney store. Our closest one is 30 minutes away!   If not we will just go with the bandanas and pirate hat that I bought for the last trip (if I can find it!)

I bought our snorkeling gear, I bought Madison a "dry snorkel" it does not allow water in like a regular one. I got it online for $17.00 (mask & snorkel).

I don't think we are going to do any excursions, just go to the beaches.

Ours is about 30-40 min away so I understand, but maybe that's better for our bank accounts !:rotfl: :rotfl:

Kim aka...keeper of the list, thanks for e-mailing the list out, and also for putting it together for us:flower3:

Michelle and Tink,

If you go to disneyshopping.com, they are having a semi-annual sale. They have adult Pirate tshirts. Use the code save50 and get 50 percent off sale prices and use the code shipfive for five dollar shipping. While you're there, you can throw in other fun stuff that is majorly discounted. I took care of several little girl birthday gifts for the year today!

Enjoy!

BTW, Craig and I are ONLY wearing pirate tshirts and eye patches (I may don the bandana they give me) for pirate night.

You must be from Nebraska also :lmao: :lmao: ours is a good 3 hours away as well!!! Our nearest mall is 2 hours away:sad2: Pretty sad for a girl who loves:love: to shop!!!!

And your Disney store and ours are not the same one, they are in opposite directions! There is an 8 hour no-Disney-store zone from Omaha to Denver. How sad.

My nearest Disney Store is 10 minutes away. Did I tell you guys, Minnesota does not have tax on clothes?????;) SOunds as if you guys need to do a road trip here and we (Brenda especially), can go to the Mall of America, which has the Disney Store and is 10 minutes from my house. Talk to you guys tomorrow, I have to run home.

If you're gong to the Disney Store, first go to www.wishesgranteddaily.com and register -- they'll give you a 20% off coupon~

now after reading the rest of the posts, I am of the strong opinion that you should just order a ton online so you can get excited when the packages come to the door ---I love htat!!!!

When Amazon had the major toy sale in Dec, I ordered a ton of stuff cheap (teaching supplies, you know...) and they shipped all of the seperately -- it was like getting a present everyday!
