»»June 16, 2012 Father's Day Cruise on the Fantasy!««

Getting very excited, we leave in 3 weeks from today for Disney World. We will be staying in the Tree Tops:). My brother and his family are making their first visit to Disney. I am so excited for them.:cool1:
On a cruise note DS8 keeps asking us if we could go on another cruise soon. I keep telling him we can't afford it, if he only knew. Now I know they will be excited to go on our secret cruise.

We're going to Epcot for the day May 13 - maybe we'll pass you :)

We will be in Animal Kingdom that day and eating at Whispering Canyon for dinner. I am a over planner, I think I drive my family crazy.

Cape May Cafe dinner for us, than back to Tampa! We are going to the Animal Kingdom next Friday, with a character breakfast at Tusker House.

Oh, we are overplanners, as well - our seasonal ADRs are always planned as far out as they can be :thumbsup2 Right now, we are booked thru June 17th, and that will most likely be our last until kids get back into school last week of Aug-Labor Day ish...........

BTW - Love you avatar!!!!!! ;)

Tammy we are headed back to Disney in August....I am jealous of you guys going to get to go in three weeks! We love Whispering Canyon!!! It is going to be great to see the kids again on the cruise next year...we have not told Ethan and Lauren either. Ethan keeps asking to go on another Mickey Cruise too! Going to be a lot of surprised kids on sailing day!

Yeah got it from you, my daughter saw yours and wanted me to change to put one on ours. She is in love with Tangled the funny thing is we asked her who she wanted to see first when we got to Disney and she said the "Evil Mother", go figure:rotfl2:

Just wanted to say, :welcome::welcome::welcome: to all of the new cruisers joining us on the cruise. This is going to be one GREAT TIME on the new Disney Fantasy.:thumbsup2:cool1::banana:

Speaking of the Fantasy, has anyone checked out Myer Werft's web cam on their website lately? In the bottom photo you can see the Fantasy under construction. You can tell it is the Fantasy by Disney's signature smoke stack. It won't be long now everyone, and the Fantasy will be be sailing out. (I know, I know. I know, it is still a year away.............but it is getting closer!!!!):woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Call me crazy...........

Yesterday I began organizing my FE stuff for this cruise!!! Over 1 year away!!!

I even made myself laugh when I was doing it :rotfl:

You are not Crazy. I should be doing the same thing considering how much time it will take me to come up with the idea and make/buy them. :thumbsup2

You're not done w/ them yet.... are you? You're just getting things together right now, right? (please make the rest of us feel good. :goodvibes ;))

I do have a box of things started or put together , but NOTHING completed! My goal is to get them mostly done this summer, but I will probably be scrambling next June to complete them... Procrastinator is ME!! :rotfl:

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!! party: WONDERFUL day watching the Twins win while soaking up the GORGEOUS sun (first day we had it in 9 days! :scared1:) @ the beautiful stadium, w/ temps @ ~ 63 degrees :cool1: A little sunburn feels good right now ;)

I am so jealous. I haven't been up to see the Twins this year. Usually we go up to the home opener, but due to their major screwup on the internet site:mad: I didn't get anything, and wasn't going to pay a scalper $150 a ticket. Oh well so far my poor Twinkies haven't been doing that well this year. I am hurting....waited all season for this and now so disappointed.

So I just finished listening to all the DIS Unplugged podcasts on the cruise. I can tell you I am really looking forward to next year. All the reviews and stories I have been hearing just keep me so excited. Can't wait for the next edition of Passporters to come out as well. Just got the WDW version to see if we might start planning for a couple days before the cruise.

Hope you all had a Happy Easter.

You guys have been active lately, I had some catching up t do. I got in this morning from the 10 Night Wonder Mexican Riviera, my FIRST Disney cruise. 7 nights will seem short after the 10 nighter. he first day is kind of a wash, and the last day is so hectic with packing and looking at pictures to buy, BOOKING another cruise, etc. We were in Cabo San Lucas on Easter, and there as not much happening on the ship as far as Easter celebrations, besides the White Rabbit showing up. Now it's time to plan for the Fantasy!

I thought that they might do something really special for Easter! I am surprised that it was not much more than the White Rabbit. Just think guys and gals...we are approach the 1 year mark and then things should pick up even more on here with new members and conversations!

Hoping that everyone down here in the South, especially in Alabama, is safe, as well as their family and friends.

:grouphug:

Juls, yes, I am SO excited! If you couldn't tell from my SN and my sig, I am completely obsessed with HP. :wizard:

I went in November the week of Thanksgiving (Saturday pre-Turkey and came back home on T-day) to WDW and spent one day at IOA so that I could go to WWoHP. WWoHP was jam packed, and the rest of the park was practically deserted.

When I go back this time, I;m actually going for a HP conference (my first ever con of any kind - I'm a little :scared1:) that is timed around the release of the last movie. So I'll definitely do that one night, and another night, we're renting out the park. That's what I'm most looking forward to - b/c even with the 2000-3000 people that are attending the conference, the crowds will be much more manageable.

We only went because we got FREE tickets (but they were 12 rows up from the Visitor's dugout :thumbsup2). Jim Tomie (who really DOES resemble Mr. Incredible :lmao:) did almost have 2 homeruns w/ his first 2 ups @ bat. We can now start calling them Twinkies again since they haven't been doing well... will go back to Twins once they pick it up. ;) Weird not seeing Mauer play too.

I do hope all our southern friends and their families are okay. I will now stop complaining about the snow falling---- AGAIN today. I will take that over the Southern States' weather any day!

My DH and I are from AL (Birmingham), graduated from U of AL in Tuscaloosa, and his family all lives in B'ham. We had so many friends lose everything in the tornados. Tuscaloosa is destroyed. We lived there 7 years, and the townhouse we had was stripped to the foundation. It's been a long 2 days for us. So many sad things. Please keep everyone in your prayers.
