DH even got the driveway graded for the first time all season!

We are off to a wedding today. Mostly sunny, high of 87.

We too are off to a wedding,headed to Pensacola Fl. Currently in the airport in Charlotte doing this post on the blackberry. Current weather in CLT 82 and partly cloudy, PNS going to be 87 and full sun on the beach.
It rained all week on me in Roanoke, can't wait for sun and beach. Got to board another flight.

So happy that the weather here is back to what I enjoy (although DH is miserable). The beginning of this week was dreadful - cloudy, windy, temps in the 40s and 50s. Now though, we are back to normal, sunny, breezy, temps in the 80s. If only the pool were already open so that I could go get a bit of sun.

Yesterday was my last day of teaching for the year...all we have left are 3 half-days of exams. SO excited, even though I have a week of classes for myself in about a month.

Plans for this summer include a weekend of camping with the fam, a week in PR over the July 4th holiday, and a week in Orlando for a Harry Potter conference . Exciting, but I'm more pumped about next summer's plans. What are everyone else's plans for the summer? Any fun trips planned?

Regarding the news on the Fantasy, what are your thoughts? Being a huge fan of Europe in general, and a French teacher to boot, I was THRILLED with Mlle Minne Mouse. As soon as I heard that, I started getting excited about a more European-themed decor. I also that AP is going to more general animation and less Nemo. Don't get me wrong, I love Nemo, but I was hoping for something that I could only get on the ship and I can see Turtle Talk with Crush at almost any Disney park now. So what are your thoughts? What are you excited about? What do you wish they hadn't changed? And what other news are you hoping for?

I still have 3 1/2 weeks of school, blah, but the end is in sight. As far as upcoming vacation plans, after paying my taxes this year, realized that Uncle Sam gets my vacations for the next few years instead of me. Good thing we booked this cruise so early or we couldn't afford to do it. (Who am I kidding, I would have done it anyway) I'm still holding onto my 'dummy' cruise discount, waiting for an outstanding deal to come along.

We were just in Orlando yesterday - saw "Pirates" at the AMC theater at Downtown Disney, then went to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and hit up the Mall at Millenia before coming home. We'll go back for the day June 3rd.

Ruh Roh! We use our tax refund for two-cruise-a-year-DCL-habit............Love putting that money to good use Love having three 7-night cruises in the hopper (with plans to book a dummy date or 2 in Oct on our Magic cruise for 2013!! - would love to do Pacific coast with DL, or Alaskan cruise out of Seattle).

Since I work weekends, am not a teacher, nor do we have a child in school yet, we are taking a cruise in Oct - our 2nd this year. Can't wait. Going thru DCL withdrawl right now. I do have 17 days off in June, as we have some friends coming down to stay with us for 5 nights, then we are off to the Ft Wilderness cabins for 2 nights (Passholder discount!!!), then we are going to stay with them at their Timeshare in Orlando for a week. We are going to get the FL resident "Water Parks after 2pm" annual pass - DD is 4 and has never been there and I think she will absolutely love it.

Bibbidy Bobbitie Boutique - yuck! I personally don't have a preference right now regarding the decor. I like the Magic's Beat Street over the Wonder's Route 66, but I love DCL regardless

Mom and baby came home today and we just finished with his first bath. All the kids are excited and can't wait until he's old enough to come with us on the Mickey boat lol.

Now we'll be able to celebrate our anniversary and Jake's 1st birthday on the Fantasy next year.
