Can you say ONE MONTH????

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!

I just sent a "we're on the cusp of victory" note out to everyone in my traveling party!!!!!! Been counting down for TWO YEARS - we all re-booked during our last cruise together, cuz we had SUCH a BLAST together! (have all been friends for 25+ years so it's a big ole reunion party!). 17 of us going this time ... 2 families had to drop out ... but they're re-joining us in 2012!

I wish it'd get a little cooler here. It's balmy and HUMID in VA! I was hoping the tropics would feel ...... different ....... in a month!! I like escaping the cold. At least the scenery will be better on the ship!

But that is only if you book transportation and/or air through Disney, right?

We book our own transportation (cheaper and can do a beverage stop), so we can't use onboard check in.

Yes and no. We also book a towncar TO the port but we take the DCL bus back to the airport after the cruise if we are going home same day (like this year). So this works perfectly for us. And I read that you only have to book one way to qualify so we are good.

I so agree about the humidity in VA today...miserable! Plus I share an office with someone who would freeze in Florida in July

OMG I've been so absent and I've missed all these pages. I've been laid up and was off work yesterday. I ended up having a cyst removed from the back of my leg and I got 3 stitches (1st time in my life). Since I sit all day at work, it makes for an interesting day. It has derailed my exercise for my diet, so I'm gonna have to really get after it once the stitches are removed. 8 more pounds to go until I get where I really want to be.

All is well here!! I have to go to the store tonight, cook dinner, clean up the house a little (ok DS does cause he owes me money for shoes), bring in all the plants that I want to keep (hard freeze tonight and tomorrow night) all in the course of this short evening. Oh and work on Soccer since this is the last weekend. I think I will need a drink by the time the evening is over. Rumor has it there is a bottle of tequila in the freezer.

Everyone have a great night. Only a few more days........

I DID get my FE from Stitches N' Bows today! it turned out great! Can't wait to hang it on that fish! Question... I keep reading to bring a zip tie to hook it to the fish. Do I put the tie through the ribbon then over the fish or do I put the ribbon over the fish and zip tie below it?
I certainly don't want to lose it!

I sent an email to the FE participants, but thought I'd put it here too. Wondering who is going on the Fury Catamaran and what ages are the kids. Hoping more kids will make it even more fun for them all!

We will be there with DD and DS who will be just about 9

Quick healing pixies coming at you! That so does not sound fun. The tequila sounds like it would be a good assistance with feeling better.

If it helps, my docs went to my agency...thankfully they popped them right in the mail when they received them. You may want to call your TA and see if she/he has them.

I cannot wait for my FE to arrive! Jen is such a sweetheart...I'm just thrilled I was able to get an order in under the wire! Like you, I need to figure out how to secure it to the fish. Hmmmmm...

I saw your email...would so love to do that excursion, but alas it's not in the cards this trip. Enjoy and have a margarita or two for me! (Oh heck...I'll just have a margarita or two as I wander around Cozumel!)

Heather, I think we will be waiting for awhile. I haven't even got my docs yet for the cruise before this one on the 20th.

BUT (not meaning to sound like a whiner) I am so happy to be just be able to go! I know they will be here before we know it...just a little bit later.

For using a zip tie on the FE - last year I had a stocking (not a "real" FE) and I put the zip tie through the loop of the stocking and then "through" the "hook" that the fish is on. That sounds totally confusing, but you will see what I mean when you get there. Basically you just want to secure your FE to the base of the fish so it doesn't get stolen.

I haven't gotten my FE from Jen yet (not so) patiently waiting.

Good Morning:

Thanks for all the pixie dust for my leg getting better. I actually got to jog a little last night. It felt great. I didn't want to push it so I only went for 2-10 minute walk / jogs.

We are freezing to death here this morning. We are at 38 right now. We didn't have a hard freeze, but did get some frost. The hard freeze is tonight with a low of 28. I love fall that usually means my cruise is right around the corner. Which it is.

I get excited when the UPS guy comes in because that usually means I have something for the cruise. The office gives up a moan because I'm really leaving for a week. One of my bosses has threatened to duck tape me to my chair.

I hope everyone has a great Thursday. I have to get to the billing for both offices this morning.

Glad your leg is feeling better Tonya - hate to see you hobbling off the dock for your Cozumel tour with Shell and Bill!

Your last line reminds me that it is time for me to do my billing. Always a good news bad news thing. Good news is I get paid. Bad news is I hate doing the billing and activity reports more than anything. It's definitely the only bad thing about having my own gig.

Steph - I think my FE is hanging out with your cruise docs cuz neither of them are here.

I had the most awful day at work today! I think there was a meeting and everyone deicded to ask me the most ridiculous questions or give unreasonable deadlines, or just be plain rude to me today. It was not a good day for me.

I usually work at home for 1/2 day on Fridays, but I have to go IN the office tomorrow which is not doing anything for my mood with that place. This vacation cannot come soon enough!

My countdown for leaving is in the 20s but I have it from sail date on here....soon we will say we are crusing THIS MONTH! )
