I've been lurking but not posting. My Bad.

I've been searching for some motivation for my FE gifts and finally found some last night. Gosh I love Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Even my 13 son loves to go. And that's saying something.

Welcome to all the new comers. Isn't it great to find out about the people that your gonna be confined on a boat with?

I can't believe its NEXT MONTH.

I will check back in later tonight. I gotta actually work this afternoon.

Welcome Heather! Darcy is the "official" FE list holder. The cut off was last Wednesday as the list was getting large and we needed to get to work! Darcy can give you the final yay or nay - I'm just in the peanut gallery...but I'm a chatty peanut gallery!

Boss is gone for the day and I am off home to finish all my FE stuff. I managed to get a last minute thing done at work today so all I have to do is stuff bags and write room numbers so I know what to deliver where!

Oh, and yes, I caved and copied Darcy's countdown thingy too! Although mine is small compared to hers...I may need to modify!

Glad you joined us! We are all getting very excited!!!! It seems like we have been waiting for this cruise FOREVER!!!! Well, I know for me it's been a year!
and now it's NEXT MONTH (excuse the screams of joy)

I'm doing after a busy day of work and the dryer is calling me again....but thanks for all the good thoughts this morning, everything worked and I was able to recoup all the lost data and time from Tuesday's debacle!!! I wish we had a computer smashing smilie!

Hi there!!!

DH and I just booked this evening, we were supposed to go in April of 2011 but have changed our minds and are going Nov 27th

I am excited, but I don't think that it has sunk in as of yet!

We would really like to do the FE if there is room for us, someone please let me know who I should contact! I will be totally bummed if we can't get in on it, since we have switched there are a few things we couldn't get.

Well, guess I have 72 pages to catch up on, will have lots to read!

Very excited. Just checked on the web site for our GTY status and see our stateroom was assigned. Deck 8! We were in a 6 GTY, and I think this is a 4.

It is in the very front of the ship, so I am hoping to have no seasick issues - I will wear my patch for sure.

Anyway, will PM Darcy with the new info.

It was a busy day here while I was rearranging my Pampered Chef stash to sel land taking our girl scout troop on their first field trip of the year!

For those that asked to join the FE list, although I am the keeper of the list, I have put it out to a vte to the group via email. I know many people may already have all their gifts and can't get more, so I'll PM you both and let you know the "final answer."

I love that you all like my countdown! I used to have the months/day one, but I liked the nametag design and it fit better with our groovy logo for our trip!

My FE gifts arrived yesterday, now I have to start customizing. Not sure when that will happen, and not that long to figure it out! Softball ends this weekend for DD, but we still have 3 more flag football games for DS (and 2 more if he happens to win the playoff game). So...I may not have weekends back until the November 6. YIKES!

Nana Tink/Steph - I have a great emoticon of smashing computers at work. If I could figure out how to use it on the boards, I'll share.

Off to put the kids on the bus and head to work.

Thanks so much for attempting to help us stranglers out, that is what happens when you end up doing something last minute like this.

I didn't sleep a wink all night and this morning my stomach is in knots! There is so much for me to think about, my mind is spinning. A good spinning I guess I can feel the excitement! I have read a bit of the thread and when I see the countdowns I start to "freak out". I think it is going to take me a week or so to get used to the idea.

Sorry have not been on the boards at all, but turns out that this wedding planning thing can be crazy. Finally all the major elements are taken care of though, and Matt and I still like each other. I do vaguely remember a discussion we had a long time ago about just getting married on the Magic instead of having a big wedding, and it was my call--so just have myself to blame, lol. Placed order for last of wedding decorations yesterday and got FE gifts from the same website--yeah I am multi tasking now!!!
So now its excursion planning time...Anyone planning on snorkeling in the Caymans or been before and have an excursion of that sort they would recommend?
Promise to participate more now that things have calmed down to the more normal crazyness we are used to around here, and can't wait till meet everyone. We will be the couple relaxing with the drink of the day in the adult pool area.
Well off to find that gym that keeps taking money out of my account every month and then to draw pretty pictures on people. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Rachel - We are doing the 3 reef snorkel with Capt. Marvins in Grand Cayman. I haven't done it before, but it comes recommended from several different sources. They do a full day that has an added on afternoon tour of the island that I think someone else has signed up for.

We've got a PARRRRTAYYY going here! It's going to be fun!

NO worries on not having time for the board, I think you have a couple other things on your mind with the WEDDING!!! Remind us all again which day you are getting married and where? Very exciting!

Yeah...I have a gym that keeps charging me as well. I need to find it, too, now that softball and flag football are almost over. Just signed up for a pilates class that starts Monday. I'm sure I'll be sore the next day.

Old habits die hard and I like the idea of the brief meeting in the Promenade Lounge around 2:30ish on the first day. It's quick, you don't have to "search" for people because there usually aren't lots of folks in that space and it's relatively quiet to be able to meet and greet. We also enjoyed a quick meet around the same time at the Goofy pool on the Med sailing but we really had a hard time figuring out who WAS with our group and who wasn't. So if it comes to a vote, I'm all for the Promenade Lounge....
