We're planning to drive to Vancouver. How much is parking at the port?
OK...I am so confused!!! Another mushed brain here!!......We can't book on Sept. 21 (Gold and Plat) for the Dream because the itineraries won't be released...or will they???...or are we just able to book the other 2011 itineraries?
Just wondering as we will be onboard the Magic that week so don't know if the Dream will be available to book yet or just Alaska and stuff
Also, since it was mentioned you would have to book via phone on the 21st does that mean they won't accept onboard ressies???
MJ
Its right downtown Vancouver. Expensive

I googled Port of Vancouver. Parking for 7 days was $144 (Canadian) including tax.
When I looked into it for our cruise this past summer it was about $135 CDN. for seven days. Only problem is that it is going to be busy. There were 5 cruise ships leaving the day we left. However, some cruise ships have pulled out of Vancouver for 2010, so we might see some more shifting by 2011.
Google Port of Vancouver and there was some info about parking and a link.
Someone in an earlier post said since DCL will be sailing Tuesday to Tuesday, it may not be quite as busy.... I have no idea if this is actually true or not.. but we can hope.![]()

Not sure if anybody posted these dates. There are not any for the 3/4/5 day cruises....obviously.
So for those of you who are familiar with Vancouver, are there hotels close to the port? If we flew in the day before, got a hotel for one night... would it be pretty quick and easy getting from the hotel to the port?

MJ - do my eyes deceive me? Is my favorite poster on these boards going to be on the Magic 9/19? If thats the case, don't be alarmed if a crazy looking woman holding a rubber chicken walks up and says hi! (Feel free to tell me to stay away - no worries!)
