Did someone say that they had personalized meal invitations or some other surprises made for their children from somebody on DIS? Could you share the link to where you found that information when you get a chance? Thanks! Trying to come up with some special things to do for the kids on our trip and since this is our first trip to WDW I have no idea where to start looking!

I got meal invitations, thank you cards to give to cast members, mouskeeping tip envelopes, autograph book pages (sent off to Artscrow.com for a photobook) and "coupons" for items the kids can get in the parks. Penny (Chaos1cent) is making me some personalized background pages for some poems that I designed. These "poems" are from Tinkerbell and the kids will get a gift from Tinkerbell each morning that she delivers during the night. These are items that they can use in whatever park we are in that day Autograph book, sippy cup holder, fans, light up toys/bracelets, safari hats, 3d glasses. They are also getting the "coupons" for the things that I cannot buy at home: EP passport, personalized mickey ears, pressed penny book, pick-a-pearl, and Magic Band accessory.
If you click the link in my signature it will take you to my PTR. I have two chapters in there devoted to tinkerbell gifts and the poems that I made up. I will be updating them as soon as the backgrounds are finished.
Hope this will help some...We are trying to make this trip as magical as possible for my kids, I dont know if we will get come back or not.

Checking in! It'll be me, DH, DS, and nephew from May 13-17th staying at Pop Century. We will have the dining plan, but only have one reservtion so far. Doing Crystal Palace on the monring of the 14th. Will keep checking daily to try and get a Be Our Guest on either the first night or the second though.

You can get a BOG lunch with a FP. And it doesn't count against your 3 FP per day limit.

That's what we are planning. I can make our FP choices on Monday!!

So glad to hear that FP+ is working for everyone so far. We still have a few more days until we are at 60 days.

Did anyone read on the Disney Blog about MK being opened for 24 hours on May 23? We are excited and I made yet some more dining changes...now I have to start thinking of costumes for May weather. Is anyone else planning on going dressed? If so, who will you dress as?

FYI Disney will refuse adults entry if they are dressed looking similar to characters, kids are allowed but strictly no adults..just dont want you turned away at the gate see the link below...

I can't believe it guys! I first started planning this trip on June 1st of 2013 and had my countdown at 300days and now I'm at 72 days!!! Crazy! Time really flies.

Changed of plans.....we are staying at Coronado Springs instead of Shades of Green. After budgeting my ADRs last night I decided to see what the Dining plan was comparably. Umm, I actually came out ahead with the dining plan! So I called Disney any got a reservation with the DP. Its a little more in the long run for the room cost but its easier on me traveling solo at 20 weeks pregnant with a 2 & 4 year old.

Just booked!! May 11-16 at Pop. Myself (Kathy), DD & DS. My 20 year old twins. We are celebrating the conclusion of 2 successful years in college! We are calling it the "halfway there" celebration.

At this point we are planning on driving straight down from Ohio. It shouldn't be too bad with 3 of us trading off driving time. Usually DH goes with us and does all the driving, so this should be interesting

We have never gone in May. Can somebody please reassure me that this is a good time to be there...please. I see crowd levels as a 5 and I really hope so.
We have always gone in the fall (early Sept. Oct or the week after Thanksgiving) and never really had any crowd. We did go with the marching band 2 years ago on spring break and it wasn't terrible.

Road trips are the best!! We drive from Michigan down. I drive solo while the DW takes care of the kids. hehe I like driving though. May is more crowded than September. But its well worth it! You'll be fine

Hi all! Just joining in this thread - we just booked a "last minute" trip for May 16 - 19 to celebrate my birthday! We are staying at AKL and are planning to split most of our time at Epcot and DHS - although we will definitely spend some quality time on our short trip enjoying the resort! Super excited! Never been for SWW!

Hi everyone I'm on the FB group but thought I should check in here. I'll be in WDW from May 23-26. We just booked last week.. completely unexpected trip! My bday is May 23rd and it's going to be the 24 hour party so DH said I could go I added my son to the reservation as well but he won't know he's going until we're at the airport saying goodbye. It will be our first time for Star Wars Weekend as well.

Well, we just cancelled our May 2014 cruise, which means we will not be going to WDW in May. Since we are expecting to move this spring, we were concerned about the timing of this trip. Although we wanted to wait for 2015 cruise itineraries to be released before cancelling, Disney is taking too long to announce them and we had to make a decision. Since we are not anticipating cruising for the rest of this year, we are now planning on booking WDW for November (or August, if we can't wait that long!).

We've got some planning to do, but I'll be hanging around this thread because I love hearing about everyone's plan and it will keep me occupied in the meantime!

Can you please remove me from the planning section on the first page? We will be visiting Disney in a different month now. Thanks!
