“IT’S OUR MOTHER DAUGHTER TRIP!” Our Spontaneous Getaway - April 2011 COMPLETE 9/13

Sounds like you enjoyed your meal at Les Chefs de France! (: But why would they have an italian guy work at a French restaurant? Especially in the EPCOT pavilions, they are usually supposed to give some insight to how it is to live in their country through going to their pavilion and meeting them. :confused3 Oh well, moving on...

The food looks really good! As I've said before, Disney always does Salmon right (to PERFECTION), you can't get better than Disney. The Creme Brulee and the Crepe also look good. Crepes are one of my favorite disney snacks, sorry to read you didn't like it :guilty: And that was nice of them to sing to you, very sweet, but sorry you missed IllumiNations 'cause of it. :/

Glad to see you got a new keychain, very nice :thumbsup2 LOL @ your mom's comment to the CM (: And was the picture of the crocodiles from Living With The Land? Because I don't remember them being on the ride... oh well... :/

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

P.S. I beat Kristen, CHYEAH! party:

Oh man...3 TS in one day IS a lot of food!!! But...it looked really yummy!

An Italian server in France? :confused3 Odd for sure!!!!!

As much as Aurora is so NOT my favorite princess...I really love her topiary. princess:

Hehe my mom did love Les Chefs. I think I'll go there again on my next trip. It was great! :thumbsup2

He was Italian...?? That's odd. Maybe France was a little short that night and had to borrow from another country..? But that's great that he was 71 and still working there! That's gonna be me one day. But really.

I  that lobster bisque. SO GOOD. I want it now.

The mac and cheese DOES have nutmeg in it. Good job Jess! Hehe but I loved that too! Good choices Mother. :thumbsup2

BONJOUR cute waiters. <3

I'm sorry you missed Illuminations. :( That happened to me at Teppan Edo...but I had just seen it the night before. So it was okay. :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed Les Chefs! And that you realized that dresses are way comfier. You will see me in dresses a lot in my trip reports. I love them so much. They're all my mom ever wants to wear in the parks. They're lovely. And I love the black, blue and white one! Too cute! :cutie:

HAHAHAHA Johnny would TOTALLY say that too. LOVE IT. :rotfl:

HAHA YES! There is Jackfruit. :rotfl2:

A Hidden Mickey's trip? I'M COMING.

Haha yes. 3 TS places is a lot for one day. But I've done it and I think it's a beautiful thing, really.

Hope ya got a good night's sleeepppp. Even though there's no sleeping in Disney. But whatever. Clearly I wasn't there to enforce that rule.

p.s. I beat kristen, chyeah! Party:

UMMM not okay. You beat me by 60 freakin' seconds. And i'm freakin' with Jess right now!!!! Ahhh Timmy it's going down from here man.

P.S. Mine is way longer than yours anyway...so I win. HAHA. Bye.

I think I had the same server as you did the last time we dined at Les Chefs de France. What a small world, huh? Well, not really a small world, since we're all just in Disney constantly. :rotfl:

I've had the profiteroles (the puffy things), and honestly they're just okay in my opinion, so I don't think you missed out on a lot. I think that the creme brulee is definitely the best dessert on their menu.

I know... it threw me off a little bit! But he was precious, so totally fine.
Salmon is my favorite fish... I especially love it at DISNEY! I actually like shrimp more... but it's not really a fish per say.
And that's okay... I saw it a couple times before the trip ended I'm pretty sure lol
And thanks! And yes, it is in the first part of Living with the Land. You'll have to be on the lookout next time!
And p.s. she is mad at you.

Chefs de France = Yum!

I completely agree with you about dresses/skirts at Disney, so comfortable!

YUM! And yeah right?! So much better. Especially when you're constantly full... it's just way more comfortable.

Oh man...3 TS in one day IS a lot of food!!! But...it looked really yummy!

An Italian server in France? :confused3 Odd for sure!!!!!

Yes... but it was great! It doesn't happen every day, so why the heck not? You can do anything in Disney :thumbsup2
And yes, strange stuff. But he was cool, so it was totally fine!

As much as Aurora is so NOT my favorite princess...I really love her topiary. princess:

Yeah, it was really cute!
Haha oh yeah, that's weird that you're not going there this time! That's okay haha
And haha me too... I want to work at Disney till the day I die.
Yeah, dresses just win. I like them so much better. No pants = so much better.
HAHAHA "I am ladies man." :rotfl:
We'll have to add it to our list. We have a good list going:
- Your Graduation Trip
- Hidden Mickey Search Trip
- Our Food and Wine Festival Trip when we're both 21 so we can drink at the only place we really desire to
- Our trip when we do our own version of Stacy's movie
- Our trip when we're both pregnant so we can eat A LOT
- Our trip with our Disney children
- And when you plan half of the reservations and when I plan the other half.
We gotta get crackin. And we gotta win the lottery
And yeah, don't worry. I woke up pretty early the next day. It's all good.

UMMM not okay. You beat me by 60 freakin' seconds. And i'm freakin' with Jess right now!!!! Ahhh Timmy it's going down from here man.

P.S. Mine is way longer than yours anyway...so I win. HAHA. Bye.

See, Timmy? Angry Krsiten. :scared1: :rotfl:

Haha did you really? That's funny. But yes.. good point  There's no better place to be, really.
And haha okay. And since I'm not a huge creme brulee person... I don't really think I'll necessarily need dessert at Chefs de France next time. Mabe I'll just go to the French Bakery... :goodvibes

OOOHHH, failure, Kristen! :p Bring. It. ON!

Well, I have more posts on this TR than you, so... I win! BOOYAH! :cool1: G'nite!

Chefs was one of our favorites from last summer, and I loved the macaroni and cheese.

I actually tried the chocolate puff things lol that I have no idea how to spell and thought they were one of my least favorite desserts, so I can say you didn't miss much.

I love your new dress.....I can't wait to get some new ones next month.

Oh boy... so much competative tension. I can't handle this :rotfl:

Yum, I agree! So good!
And oh really? Well, I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I just will avoid dessert all together there
And aww thank you! I hope you find some!

Shrimp is the best, but when I'm at Disney, it switches to Salmon. All the salmon I've had there so far was AMAAAZZZZIIINGG!

Oh, okay... well I haven't been on it in a year, so I probably forgot. Fail :P

Hahahaha, Bring it on, Kristen. Bring. It. On.

...so I googled the "Muffin" You-Tube video. The -burry ending is a Philly accent. My fiance makes fun of me because that's the way I say any kind of berry. They're all straw-burries. He also says "AR-ange" for orange in the video. Which is also Philly.

For the longest time growing up I would pronounce "library" as "lie-burry" and couldn't figure out why, but I finally figured it out a few years ago when my Nana said it. It took me into my teen years to fix that one!

Anyway, I'd bet money that he's a Philly boy.

Great update as always! I agree with you on the dresses. I think they are much more comfortable.

Great update. Your dinner at Le Cellier looked so delicious! And wow 3 tables services in one day?! You really must have been stuffed, that's a lot of food! lol

I love wearing dresses to the parks too, you're right that they are just so much more comfortable. I pretty much wear dresses all summer really, it's less outfit planning and I'm usually way too lazy to wear shorts!

Hahaha thanks for finding that out! I always say it like that because I think it's funny  Pronunciations are so fun. I feel like I get into conversations about the way people pronounce words way too often LOL :lmao:
But haha sounds like a solid bet! I bet he is!

Thank you! :) They really are haha

Haha thanks! (Les Chefs de France  That's okay) And yeah, I was SO full. But I only had a few days this trip, so I had to eat as much as I possibly could!
And they really are, I'm glad you agree. I love sun dresses in the summer... they're my fave! :thumbsup2

Bread is always good:thumbsup2

That is pretty funny that you had a Italian waiter at Les Chefs de FRANCE:lmao: I wonder why he ended up there and not in the Italy pavilion.

That dress is adorable! Seriously, I want to raid your closet:laughing:

Bummer that you missed Illuminations. I missed it on my last trip too because we were hung up at a restuarant. Oh well.

I agree :)
Haha I know... that was strange. Oh well! He was a good waiter besides the long wait at the end.
Thank you :goodvibes
And aww that stinks. Well that just means you'll have to go back!

LOL, I totally knew that...I wrote that response after I had just woken up. My bad! I feel like such an idiot now:rotfl: Did Remy come around to your table during your dinner? My Mom loves him so I've always wanted to take her there sometime.
