elevator

I'm sure this has been asked before, but i see some room available that are directly behind (beside?) the elevators. I know that means alot of foot traffic, but what i don't know is, does that mean there will be a constant "ding" as elevators arrive? perhaps you don't notice, but thinking...

Are the staircases at AoA exterior? You can see them in pictures of the buildings. Can you enter from the outside? We are trying to avoid the main entrances, and elevators. Thanks!
