Let me try this again...on our trip to Ohana on August 4 we loved the shimp and were wondering if anyone knew what they were marinated in?? Someone said there is a site that has Disney recipes...I tried Allears, but they only have the menus...any clues?? Princess Di princess:

To Larababe... We too always hate the last night because it means family vacation is almost over...but...Ohana's was wonderful...it also gave us one last look at the fireworks, monorail, etc. in a beautiful setting with great food...you will love it...and it may become a new family tradition...

Does anyone know the tiger shrimp marinade at Ohana?? Somewhere I read that some of the Disney restaurants would give you recipes if you requested them...anyone know about this?? Thanks...they are delicious!!! Princess Di princess:

We just got back on Friday from WDW...our last dinner was Ohana...the food was wonderful and it was perfect timing...they dim the lights and pipe in the music from Wishes...it is truly magical!! Everyone stays seated and can really see from their tables...it was great! Princess Di princess:

We just got back from WDW on Friday...we had our last dinner at Ohana, and although we had a long wait because it was a last minute trip and we didn't have a reservation, we waited two hours, but had one of the most wonderful and memorable meals of our trip...it was wonderful and will be talked...

We just got back from disney on Friday. We took a last minute trip so had no time to make any reservations...we did manage to get seated within 15 min for the Biergarten in Epcot for dinner one night, but had to wait 2 hours at Ohana... I would definitely make the reservations, you've not...

Just got back from Disney on Friday and we did Ohana for dinner...our party had no children but thought the activities for the kids were great and the dinner just awesome...we did wait for 2 hours tho... Go hungry!!! Princess Di :wizard:

Also, it cost $7 per person a day for the shuttle to the parks...so renting a car is well worth it! And if you park a car, you can still hop from park to park with one parking fee... Princess Di :wizard:

I'm reading all this and getting a little nervous! We check in on Friday night and I hope the mad rush is over...and that Vistana has its act together--I've read some good things about this resort too and I hope we won't be disappointed--I'll let you know next week.... Also we recently...

I've read this thread from top to bottom as we are off to Vistana as a guest in a couple of weeks. We have a guest certificate on an exchange--it says nothing about a location, other than the vacation destination as vistana, address, phone #..and a 2BR unit. This was done through RCI --I did...

According to what I was reading on another site--it says that Vistana runs a complimentary shuttle service to the Disney parks. Is this true?? If so, how often do the shuttles run and has anyone had any experiences with this? Thanks--we are leaving soon and trying to figure out how to get...
