2 yo attacked by alligator at Grand Floridian

I too grew up in the 70's swimming in the lagoon. However, we must remember that alligator populations were extremely low in the 70's since they were hunted almost to near extinction. They were not put on the endangered species list until 1967. The populations have now fully recovered, and...

    Podcast now has explicit rating?

The "E" is now gone. I wonder if they fixed it. I thought for sure it was the placenta comment that put it over the edge! :\

    Podcast now has explicit rating?

Congratulations to the podcast team on garnering an explicit rating. Well done guys! (The April 1 podcast has a little red "E" next to it on the iphone Podcasts app; I am guessing that's what the "E" means.) A new era begins!

Quickie Trippie - California Adventure/Fairfield Inn

I've been to Disneyland before, but never California adventure. 30000 miles was correct. I travel a lot for business (but not usually to LA) so I have quite a lot of miles. A r/t flight cost on united is wildly different depending on the route. On united, getting a rt flight for 25k miles is...

BLT Thread on DVC Mousellaneous Board has Me Worried

Stick with blt. Just got back and our room was very clean. Nothing I saw in the hotel appeared to be run-down. The location really can't be beat. At 40% off, that is a steal.

BLT rooms and views with picture links! Last update of post #1 10/21/2015

Had an awesome time. I did go to the front desk in person to inform them of the view issue, however they were more interested in trying to convince me that there was no issue w/o hearing my thoughts on it. I'll probably write a letter and see if it sticks, I do have the name of the person...

BLT rooms and views with picture links! Last update of post #1 10/21/2015

1 BR, Lake view room, 4th floor The view of the lake is mostly obstructed by the bamboo trees in the courtyard. So really, to the right of the view you get a small sliver of lake view. From the center and center left, the view is obscured by the bamboo trees. You are not on a high-enough...

Yet another bus accident Sat 4/3

I wish that were the case. I just don't buy the notion that, 'Disney has always had the same amount of accidents, but we're just hearing more about them now because of media/Internet/etc'. I have a feeling there really is a statistical increase. Now, Disney may still have a better record...

Sad.... 10yr old killed by bus at WDW (2nd story added)

I hate to say it, but I think soon the NTSB is going to be taking a hard look at WDW transportation in general, and mandating certain changes, whether they are Disney-like changes or not....

    Sprint Wi-Fi coverage at WDW?

It is called tethering, and you can google it for more info. ATT does not support tethering on iPhone (but do support on other phones), although other carriers (from around the world) support it on he iPhone. Tethering is also not limited to the iPhone, blackerry's and many other phones can...

    Sprint Wi-Fi coverage at WDW?

voice calls are less tolerant to a bad signal. Data, whether internet or text can handle fluctuations in signal strength and quality. Basically the data connections might be 'dropping' for a split-second and you don't even notice. If you lose signal while on a voice call, even for a second...
