I’m guessing they are waiting for the scaffolding to move from those rooms so they can open. So maybe if they open the 19th but the outside isn’t done, they’ll allow outer building suite guests access? I’m just speculating. Only time will tell!

We were there 8/26-28, and before then we were at the Poly CL. Someone being called back to RPC said the goal was the 19th!

We just dined there a week and half ago. Jackets are no longer required, but encouraged. My husband was one of three men total wearing one. Everyone else had button down and slacks. I did notice the majority of people, while dressed appropriately, were much more casual than past experiences.

We just got home from there. We overheard someone asking about the Tea Room and the cast member said to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for information. Seems like they have plans for both spaces, but are waiting to announce. The CL rooms are expected to open around September 19th. Perhaps...

Anyone stay in sugarloaf or sago since the main building construction started? I normally like to request a pool view, but if there will be noise in the “resort view” rooms in the closer buildings, I want to make the proper requests or change to a water view. We arrive in two weeks.

Thanks for all the info. Growing up we were a big SL CL family, so less option isn’t new to me. But I’m surprising my DH with the upgrade at Poly. I’m hoping not to be too disappointed with all these less than stellar reviews coming in lately. Stocked beer might be all DH cares about!! :-)

I emailed guest services and inquired. They responded that they have zero ndication of the restaurant closing. They did confirm that they just haven’t loaded the reservations past Aug. 15. They did say reservations could be loaded at any time, so check frequently.

I have glitterized all my magic bands in each color, even before they started selling them that way. Look for glitter nail polish with a clear base. I just did my white one for my upcoming trip.

If anyone is there now, can you inquire about Narcoossees? It is impossible to make a reservation beyond August 15th, and no cast member I’ve spoke to seems to know why or if it is scheduled to close again. We arrive the following week and have been checking since our 60+ day. Thanks!

You could head to the Poly and get there around 2 to get on the list for Trader Sams. They open at 3 and have apps.
