Extra Magic hours are definitley worth it, I would get there within the 15 minutes of park opening. I would then hop to another park since EMH tends to make that park busy for the day. However the great thing about January is it is generally not too busy!!!

Epcot closes at 9 that day and MNSSHP does not start until 7 I believe it would be very doable. Just be sure to leave Epcot a little early.

The mickey croc flip flops take about two weeks to break in. I put band aids where they rubbed and I gotta say now that they are broken in they are the most cofortable shoes ever. However there a million styles of crocs to choose from. I would just go to a crocs retail store.

I have a pair of Rainbows, a pair of the crocs (flip flops), and usually at least one more pair. I keep one pair in my bag at all times and switch 2-3 times a day to even the wear and tear on my feet. One shoe I highly advis against are tone ups, you will be in pain.

Yes they can be booked seperately and if you do it right a lot of times you can get a great resort only discount. The downside is if you are wanting a dp it does have to be purchased as a package.
