    Deck 6 and seasickness?

You all probably know this but don't forget that your perception of the rocking motion of the ship is minimized by moving more toward the center of the ship, not necessarily the deck. It does stand to reason that an upper deck midships cabin will move more in pitching seas than one several...

    Help!!! :)

My family joined three other families for the 2002-2003 New Year's week. We arrived on the Saturday before, the other families arrived on Sunday. Three or four months prior to the trip, my wife (the Disney nut) put together an "itinerary" for the trip: Arrival Sunday we do this, Monday that...

    room requests

We have had very good results in obtaining extremely desireable rooms with the only request being that the room be a non-smoking room. In our last stay at WDW at Wilderness Lodge, we were able to get an upgraded view (standard to courtyard) and a bunk-bed for the kids. The view was already...

If you have any questions regarding Sea World | Discovery Cove

Do you know of a Web site location that might have a map of Sea World that's easier to read than the "artist's rendering" that is currently available on SW-O's Web site? I'm looking at the drawing and I cannot get a feel for who's where and what's what. The last time we were at SW-O was in...

Oh, that's right, the XP-38 is a newer model not yet on line.

Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

HM, PotC, and CBJ commonalities? I saw a post that they all have or will have movies being released themed after the rides rather than the other way around, but, I believe that they were the original rides open when the Magic Kingdom first opened. Am I right? Don't yell at me if not...

    Primeval Whirl

I did it in April and thought it was horrible. Spinning doesn't bother me, but I thought the jerking was horrible. Seemed live a very cheap, "unDisney" like ride. Won't do it again.

    Ann's trip report, Day #1 CR/SOG

I had the opportunity to stay at the CR in February for the first time for a conference. My first impression of the tower room I received was that someone had "barfed color" into it. The designs were definitely "mod", but I wasn't sure I was going to be able to sleep with all the loud patterns...

Our First Family Trip 3/20-3/27 Day 5

Now I understand. What a great CM you had! We'll be staying at CBR in July and may need to do this during our stay. I'll be looking at it as a bonus if the CM takes us directly to the other resort, however, I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't work out. Glad you had a great time...

    Those McDonalds Glasses

Good question...I guess I am looking for the round ones, issued, I guess, for the 100-Years celebration. I am not familiar with the square ones.

    Those McDonalds Glasses

Was it two years ago that McDonalds offered a set of 4 different drink glasses? Does anyone have a complete set that they are willing to sell? Would the premier Web-based auction site be a better place to look? Any suggestions are welcome.

Our First Family Trip 3/20-3/27 Day 5

In reading your trip report (very enjoyable), I noticed that you were able to secure transportation from CBR to BC using Disney Transportation, not taxi. How did you do this? I thought there was no resort to resort modes, you had to use taxis. Regards, P.S. Marla, if this question is...

O"hanas or Hoop Dee Doo? Need advice

O'hana has entertainment, it's on par with the interactivity of the CMs at Whispering Canyon. Geared to the kiddies and fun. Hoop De Doo is an experience. Dinner theater where the Wait staff gets involved as well. If you want a stretch for your vacation dollars, do the Doo. The Other...

    Avoiding Illuminations Exit Crowds?

One of the neatest things my family and I did one night was to hang out after Illuminations was over. It is pretty cool to see the promenade at night, uncrowded. Many of the shops, both in World Showcase and Future World, are still open, though many of the food sellers are closed, there is...

    Getting to CRT

When you get to the monorail station, tell the CM you have a PS for Cindy's. Then tell the CM at the ticket gate...you may have to push your way to the front of the line if the CMs are not letting guests through.

Taxi Fares - MCO to WDW

Andy, Thanks a lot for responding so quickly. I had no idea the meter rate was so high. It makes the other transfer companies look like bargains in comparison. Oddly enough, it almost makes renting a car an economical option. Thanks, E.Z.
