Honestly we bought OKW because of the pricepoint and years left of ownership. In all our years, we have remained pretty flexible and have never had an issue with our bookings but that is a great idea! We would love to add on some Riveria points when the time comes!

Characters are at Tusker House all day ad I love the interaction there so I would chose that! The Tusker House breakfast is one of my favorite meals at Disney! I have never personally eaten there for lunch or dinner.

If it is all the same type of room, normally they will let you stay in it because it is less cleaning for them! I would call member services and see if they can link up that reservation before you even check in.

You can go right to the parks! Check in is not until 3pm anyway so it is probably best to go enjoy DAK first and then go back to the resort to check in.

Every night, at every resort they offer some type of outdoor movie viewing. The movie that will be playing and the times are available when you check in.

I have seen people be able to go from a moderate resort to a deluxe resort for about $60 or so. Normally, this is to a resort like The Animal Kingdom Lodge or The Wilderness Lodge. Hotels like the Poly and others on the monorail loop are normally set at the highest price point.
