We'll be in U Nov 25-26. Staying in Royal Pacific to take advantage of fast pass. Haven't been to Universal in 20 years. Do you think Park Hoppers are necessary? Or should we save the extra money and just do one park each day?

I vote for Feb. We went last week and I think in the future I'm going to go towards the end of February.

I'm not worried about Orlando weather. I'm worried about NC weather and us getting flying out of the airport. Winter weather and Raleigh do not mix well..

Jan 30 - Feb 6 - POP Crossing our fingers that we're not sitting in the airport due to weather. We're leaving from NC (wintery mix maybe), up to Washington and then down - courtesy of mileage points. Our sons are driving down and meeting us there.

Park attendance in Feb (not counting president's weekend) is nothing compared to the crowds in the summer. You'll be fine. We have never had problems with our Feb. trips

We bought our shoe organizer at walmart. I think it was $8

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but its worth mentioning again: The best tip I ever got from these boards is to bring an over the door shoe organizer. We stay in the values without much counter space. Its great and holds just about everything. And I'm sure housekeeping appreciates...

We're doing just carry-on this year. The advantage we have is that our sons are driving and we're going to load up their car with our bulky items. :woohoo:

Epcot has always been my kids favorite park - starting at ages 6 & 8. And at 22 & 24, its still their favorite.

My son just told me that he heard that for next week ONLY, The Great Movie Ride is being used as a restaurant. Sounds like some special group thing going on. Anyone have any info?

Going to POP 1/30 for a week...Second time there - went last February. We love it - its now our favorite value.

Last Feb. I had a blackberry Mohito at Mama Melroses. I plan on having another next month. It was soooo good.
