Highest paid YouTuber unboxes Disney toys....

When you pay Facebook to promote your page, it shows up as a "sponsored" post for a number of people with the demographics you specify. You actually run through your money faster when people interact with it and like it. I've promoted pages several times and it's certainly not about getting more...

No expiration day tickets expire in 2030

Perhaps for the typical vacationer and only if they are planning those visits before the next price increase. This is not the case for those of us who go at least once a year and don't visit the parks every day. We have stocked up on tickets in the past and did so again once we learned the...

    Tiering system at EPCOT question...

I would probably FP Soarin' and then do TT single rider line or go to TT at rope drop. We've had very good experiences with the single rider line at TT. Yes, you won't necessarily all be in the same car, but you will get on the ride much faster.

Went to Disney. Rode Nothing. Saw Nothing. Had a Great Time.

Shhhh! Don't tell or more people will want to do this too! Many don't understand how we can be at WDW for an entire week and only go to the parks one day. This is exactly why and we love it! My husband rarely even goes to the parks at all. In fact, I'm a little concerned about our upcoming...

Driving NY Metro area to Orlando - tell me the good, bad and ugly!

We done it numerous times from Central NJ. I felt the same as you and my dh thought it would be an adventure. When we drove down in our RV, it was an adventure. So comfortable and easy to travel with kids in an RV (you have a bathroom, fridge, microwave, couches, TV including in motion...

Thinking of homeschooling...opinions and advice please?

We are just finishing our second year of homeschooling. Dd went to a traditional school through 6th grade. We use an online private school, Laurel Springs School (www.laurelsprings.com). It was easier for us to go this route instead of researching and purchasing various individual courses. When...

    Barnes & Noble Nook

I'm not entirely sure how accurate this is. We are a 2 nook family (dh ordered them early on so ours were in the first shipment). We've already been able to browse through e-books in the store without buying them. Got coupons for free cookies too. :) Haven't tried the lending thing yet, but it...

    CBR to Epcot?

Disney World is very different from DL in this way. There's a reason they call it a "world." :D The vast difference in size and scope is incredible.. and wonderful. It may be just a mile on a map, but it is not in anyway set up for walking. And, if you add in the parking lots and whatnot, it...

VALUE RESORT FREE DINING ADR's - What's your success?

We are DVC members, but staying at ASMo this trip. This was the easiest time I've had making ADRs in ages. Then again, this is our first time going this time of year. We normally visit in November, March and occassionally around the marathon in Jan. I did not call first thing this...

DVC/AP discount at regular Disney stores?

We used to get a small DVC member discount, but that ended when the Childrens Place took over the stores. Now that ownership is going back to Disney, perhaps it will change.. or not.

Figment goes into refurb & others

Spaceship Earth is open and refurbished. :) We went on it several times this weekend. The official re-opening is not until early or mid-Feb, but it's been up and running and should be when you are there as well.

    Disney Themed Hotels

I haven't seen or heard that particular rumor. I have read a few times though, that the Disney Vacation Club (the Disney version of a timeshare) is going to be building a DVC resort in Hawaii. Maybe that's where the rumor came from?? Who knows?

Does anyone have a Cricut machine for scrapbooking? Worth it?

The Cricut on the infomercial is a total of 5 $49.95 payments plus shipping and handling. I've debated buying the Cricut off and on since it first came out. I even had the smaller one in my cart at Michaels one day when they were on sale for around $120. The only thing that put me off was...

Pirate and Princess Party @ MK

We went to the PPP in early March and loved it. It was our first event of this nature, never having done the Halloween or Christmas versions. We also use park hoppers with no expiration date as our usual park tickets, so we did not have to use a park ticket for the day. You are able to enter...

How long is the walk from SSR to DTD?

It took us about 3 minutes. But, our room was in the section closest to DTD. I think it was Congress Park. It was a very short walk!

    A ? About Entrance To MK And P & P Party

When we went in March, we were able to get in with no problem around 5pm. We didn't use park tickets that day, just our P+P Party tickets.

    DVC RV parking

We almost always travel to WDW via RV (a 33 foot Holiday Rambler Imperial). The only place we have not stayed yet is BWV, but you have an answer for that one above. :) At OKW, we park at Dixie Landings/Port Orleans. We go to OKW first and unpack, then drop it off. A CM will follow you over...

    Kids Baking (?) Activity

Phew! Glad I wasn't imagining this! I did finally find info on Deb's site. No ressies for this one. :( We are spending a short weekend (Fri-Mon) in January and I was hoping to find something different/special to do, esp on that Saturday. The various activities at the Grand Floridian...

    Kids Baking (?) Activity

I know I am not imagining this! LOL I remember reading about an activity for kids.. maybe with Nestle or Pillsbury... I think it was in Epcot. I remember reading it occurred 5x/day. Now, I cannot find this anywhere! I'm not talking about the Grand Adventures in Cooking at the GF. I am pretty...

Could dd ever get bored with going to Disney? How do you keep it fresh??

We do the same. We are DVC'ers and generally go for about 5-6 days at a time, from once to three times a year. We stay at our home resort about once a year and try others on the rest of the stays. Of those 5-6 days at WDW, we generally will spend no more than 2 days going to parks. The parks...
