We're not going either. I thought it sounded too expensive for a parade, fireworks, cocoa, and cookies.... :rotfl: Plus our boys are 6 and 2 and I didn't think they'd last that late at night after being at the park all day.

Everyone just keep checking if it's not available for your resort or room. I did for my mom in a family suite and it became available last night!!! We were so excited. I would have taken the discount but we decided to do free dining instead cause it saves us more money.

Same thing happened for me! They were doing a system update this morning. I checked online for a RO discount and it was showing availability for the family suite. It wouldn't let me make the reservation so I called and they said their system was down but to try back in 30 minutes. I kept...

Me too. I don't think the family suites are usually available for discounts. Oh well!

Tried to get RO only for my family suite but it was available. Oh well, I'm just keeping my free dining and still hoping to pick up my tickets early.... Of course, they told me there has been a policy change and you can no longer do that so I called Guest Relations and they said I still can...

Same here. I really believe they just want people to upgrade and conveniently there are less rooms available at the values and moderates. Right now, I am booked with free dining but would rather take the room only which sadly was not available for my resort.

We went for 7 days last time and it wasn't nearly enough. This time we're doing 10 which I think will be just perfect. I LOVE Disney but I also get homesick easily especially for my own bed ;)

I am from Omaha, too! We are going for ten days starting Thanksgiving day through December 3. Have a great second honeymoon! :lovestruc And I have a 6 and 2 year old!!! Weird.

Same situation here.. I want to add another day to my reservation but for a family suite which is even more unlikely but I still check every day! :lmao: I would think it's more likely for a standard or preferred room at a value so I would still keep checking! You have nothing to loose. Good luck!
