With the seasonal menu, it's tough to say what's "best".
We've been twice and had outstanding meals both times. DH has had the filet on both occasions and said it was amazing. I've also had the rock shrimp salad as an app both times and raved about it.
DH & I are at CRT for lunch on our HM. He was fairly mortified when he was handed a sword during the "show" part of the meal while I loved it. Whatever ;)
The countdown is on for us! 16 days until we're back at AKL...
We honeymooned there in May 2009 and fell in love.
Stayed at CBR in October 2010 and we're reassured that nothing compares to AKL!
Can't wait to get there... :cool1:
We stayed at CBR in October and for us (after a stay at AKL in their concierge level), it was just "ok". Luckily we were close-ish to the main hub of the resort because if we weren't, I think we would have disliked it far more.
It is a big resort and the grounds are lovely... but it was...
AKL is hands down our favorite resort. I would do it for the $200 difference just to experience AKL - the decor, grandeur, rooms, ambiance, restaurants... I can't say enough good about it!
Last time DH & I stayed at AKL in May '09, the bath products were by the company H20 Plus --> http://www.h2oplus.com/
Is this still the same? We loved them! We stayed at CBR in October and the bath products were different (just assumed that they were different in mods versus deluxe).
Thanks!
Sure will. No guarantee you'll be able to get into your room but they will set you up and if your room is not available, they'll take your phone number so they can call you and let you know while you can hit one of the parks.
We went to the Wishes dessert party in October and while I wouldn't do it on every trip, it was a nice, low key way to view the fireworks and have some yummy dessert!
For myself and DH the "fancy food" is probably half of the reason we love traveling to Disney. It's luxurious and frankly, unexpected for a theme park experience. We prefer to eat at Signature restaurants for the fancy food - the standard table service and quick service meals are far more run of...
These lists impress me!!!

I'm trying to decide between Jiko or Sanaa for our first night at WDW (we're staying at AKL).
We've eaten at Jiko three times where we have not eaten at Sanaa. Money/ DDP is not of concern.
Thanks!
We're headed to WDW in a little over a month and finalizing all of our ADR's... I decided to take a peek at the Jiko menu on AllEars.net and spotted that the filet is being served w/ mac & cheese. And the menu is dated March 2011.
Can it be true???
