Can time go by any SLOWER? T minus 6 hours!

Good Morning Everyone:surfweb: I'M LEAVING TO DISNEY TODAY  I'm sitting at my desk at work... future hubby is at the office too doing a few last minute things (told him NO BLACKBERRY/WORK while at WDW!). We've hired a car to bring us to the airport and he's coming to pick me up...

OMG! No I appreciate the info! I am looking into WL or BWI as they are showing available still. Do you know if they are staying there?

    Brazil Tour Groups!!

Wow! They stay a the Poly? Even with a discounted group rate that's still not cheap (I'm a groups coordinator).:confused3 Does anybody know the other hotels they tend to stay at? I will be at POR from the 29th to Aug 4. Hotels are becoming available with my special rate... I was actually...

Too many ADR for one park day... what do you think?

I have most of my ADRs set and did not have time to squeeze in my beloved California Grill. My fiance and I LOVE sushi... and I think he'll really like California Grill. We will be doing Epcot one morning with lunch at San Angel Inn (I'm not too fond of the menu but my future hubby is of...

    Disney has ruined everything!

I'm Canadian as well... and I totally agree! We were in cottage country for Canada Day (Collingwood, ON) and the fireworks were sooo boring. My fiance has never been to WDW and he always "oooos and ahhhs" over fireworks. Our first trip to the World (together) is 20 days away... can't wait for...

Overpriced amusement park!?! How dare she say it!

I'm a groups coordinator and I book many "virgin" Disney guests as well as many wonderful "repeat" guests. I always call my clients afterwards to find out how their trip went. I would say at least 50% of the first timers say "never again" or "once was great for the kids... many when THEY have...

Witnessed a bad parenting moment at MK and . . .

Wow! Poor kid... you have to wonder: if that's how the father treats the child in public; what goes on behind closed doors? ...this is "not a big deal"? I remember during the summer when I was going into the 2nd grade (summer of 1991). A family moved in next door and they had a...

    50's Prime Time VS Sci-Fi

Do you think it's feasible to do a light lunch @ sci-fi? (Milk shakes and maybe split nachos and another app. or something?) THEN do 50's for dinner? hmmm... I want to try both! Wow goes to show even 1 week isn't enough!

    50's Prime Time VS Sci-Fi

:surfweb:Thanks to everyone for the replies! I would love for him to see the sci-fi I think he would think it was really cool. Yet, the menu and decor at 50's look pretty good too. Hmmm... Im going to try to fit in two ADR's. ;) Light lunch @ sci-fi then late dinner?

    50's Prime Time VS Sci-Fi

Thats why I think I've always avoided that place... I dont mind some entertainment at Disney (we're at a theme park after all). Sometimes I just find its too over the top that it's cheesy LOL

    50's Prime Time VS Sci-Fi

That's exactly my issue! I know (from the menu) food looks better @ 50's but I think my fiance would like the Sci-Fi. Hmmmm

    50's Prime Time VS Sci-Fi

We are a couple in our 20s travelling to the world on July 29th... we have one HS day. I've been to the World serveral times and Sci-Fi has always been a favourite. Last time I dined there was in 2007. Food wasn't great and neither was the selection... I think we shared two starter dishes and...

Ahhh help me! Split stay worth it?

LOL ohh I warned him... he doesnt understand the "exterior corridor" concept. Nor that extent of room service is pizza (is it still like that? LOL)

Ahhh help me! Split stay worth it?

The packing issue won't be a problem... since it's just the two of us. I imagine packing would be an issue with little ones. We always live out of our suitcases as well... except for when we cruise. Ah :headache: see thats what scares me! I agree that Disney is not the place for luxury... so...

Ahhh help me! Split stay worth it?

I stayed at the Poly last in 2003... I love the monorail resorts- but Poly is def one of my faves! I don't really mind the packing since it's just the two of us and there won't be much too much to pack up. I just got off the phone with Air Canada to see the cost of moving my return flight up...

Ahhh help me! Split stay worth it?

So I'm on a special rate at Disney and just noticed today that the POLY is available towards the end of our stay (last 2 nts). Some other DXL resorts are available but I've either already stayed there or not interested ...i.e CR (been there, done that), WL (reminds me too much of any resort that...

Preferred king room @ POR- AB or Mansions section?

Hello everyone! I had an issue with an upcoming reservation and was given a slight upgrade to a preferred room location & view with a king bed. I put in the the requests for the Mansions section as thats where I've normally stayed in the past (like the decor better). I noticed that some of...
