Thanks for the review, OP.
I agree with you, especially on this: "Generally, we felt over-scheduled the whole trip"
I hate that I kept constantly checking the time, pushing the family to walk faster to the next thing on the schedule. Sure, I still let my kids stop to watch the street...
Just got back home literally 5 minutes ago.
To answer the OP's questions, YES.
As long as your memory maker is linked to your disney experience, all linked magic bands are linked to it.
BUT: Make sure all your magic bands are linked to your memory maker. Sometimes, due to technical/software...
Unveiled the magic bands and watched the vacation planning video with the family tonight :) Just a few more days!!! Lots of packing to be done :) Hope everyone here has a Magical time!
Refresh the screen. It is glitchy but I was able to get all the FP+ selections I wanted. I can't even begin to describe how many error messages I got. Wouldn't add my DH. Then excluded one son. Then doubled all my selections. Said I was ineligible. :scared: Took me over 2 hrs. to finalize. Huge...
Once at ropedrop, I was able to get to HM quite quickly, and rode a doombuggy all by myself. (That wasn't the creepy part.) The creepy part was at the end of the ride, I asked to go on again, and they just let me go through, didn't ask me to get off the buggy. Well, the short ride between the...
OP, that's must have been a great adventure day for you!
:flower3:
I am pretty certain that pre FP+ rollout this was quite possible.
Now, however, maybe not so much :(
When I clicked on the Magicbands section under MDE section, the option to customize just suddenly popped up. No ticket media linked to my MDE account at that time :)
Yes. I am a DVC owner with points ressie arriving at AKL Kidani on Jan 5 (please ignore my ticker as I moved our trip 2 days later). MB's customized 3 days ago.
I actually have Peoplemover and Aladdin's Carpets on my "must-do" list. And I make my family ride them at least 2 to 3 times per trip, lol! :)
I do feel though that staying offsite might put you in a disadvantage FP wise. We shall see. As a previous poster said, time will tell.

Hi! :) Just started reading your TR. I am enjoying all your pictures and narratives! Thank you for sharing your trip with us. You have a beautiful family. (Btw, I also brought my DD to WDW for the first time when she was approximately your DD's age.) I'm only on day one of your trippie so far...
You can eat somewhere else for dinner prior to going to BOG. Then just have dessert and drinks there afterwards. I know of some friends who did this, as they weren't keen on the dinner offerings. This way you can still partake of the atmosphere and experience of dining in the Beast's Castle. :)
What about Garden Grill? I know it's not in the WS, but Mickey and Chip and Dale are there, and I bet the little ones would love that (at least mine did, lol :)) Have a Magical visit! :)
Thanks for posting. This is how we snagged Ohana dinner ressies last time we went. All days were showing up unavailable weeks and even months before, but suddenly available the day of :)
My daoghter who is three years old will be dressed up in her fancy Cinderella costume. She has a BBB appointment before our CRT reservation. When we watched the Disney Princesses on Ice, some of the little girls there were in costume and she was not. Granted she was wearing a fabulous boutique...
