Does anyone have these? The infomercial looks awesome, and we all KNOW that infomericals don't exaggerate the truth whatsoever, but I wonder if any of my dis'er pals have any personal knowledge of them.

Looks to me like there are 2 sets -- "Fitness & Workout Program" and "Total Body Transformation".

Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks!!

I was going to order this, but after watching the infomercials, I was scared that I'd start wearing tank tops everywhere I went...and would randomly pull up my shirt to show/rub my abs to total strangers...;)

I was also afraid that I would be prone to standing with my hands on my hips, one foot slightly in front of the other, while rotating on a platform...

Ok...so wierd that you posted this today because I also saw this infomercial for the first time today. Normally, no matter how excited I get over stuff I see on TV, I can usually talk myself out of it......or my husband will talk me out of it. This is why I still haven't bought the T3 hair drier that costs $200!!But the other night at my daughter's cheer practice, one of the moms (who is tiny and in shape even though she is about 10 years older than me) was in her "Zumba" clothes with the logo all over it. Since I didn't know what this was, I asked her and it turns out she teaches a Zumba class and had really great things to say about it but not too informative so I really didn't know what exactly it entailed until I saw the commercial this morning. Well DH is out of town and with no one here to talk me out of it......I bought it about an hour ago. About $72 for the Total Body Transformation kit (which includes all the DVDs and the maraca type wieghts and shipping). It will be at least a week until it comes in but I will let you know how it goes if you want!

I am another one that has been watching this informercial.:lmao:

I was going to try and dig thru the flea market and see if I could spot the DVD. No way am I paying full price for that.

I checked out the reviews on Amazon.com, and most seem to be favorable. The few low ratings were apparently fintended or a single seller that was trying to price gouge.

Madcam -- Yes, I'd love to hear how it goes. I'm really thinking of getting it too, but I'm very reluctant to part with the $$.

I did read the reviews on Amazon, but for some reason I guess trust the strangers here on this board more than the strangers over on Amazon. Weird, I know. :thumbsup2

No problem....I will let you know but it will be at least a week before they get here!:thumbsup2

Our area is Zumba crazy with absolutely everyone doing the Zumba craze---except me! I would feel more comfortable in my own home doing it, however all who take the classes say it is a blast, definately work up a sweat and have fun doing it!

I took one class, from a friend and it was very small and with people I knew very well. IT WAS A BLAST. I can't dance at all, but the music and the moves were so much fun. I saw this DVD the other day on TV and I am thinking about buying.

I saw the infomercial today, and I'm on the fence. I go to Zumba class at the gym twice a week and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The DVD's just don't look as fun to me. Plus, my instructor mixes it up all the time...we never do the same songs over and over. I think the DVD's would bore me. That said, I do Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds on my off days, and I don't get bored with them, so who knows???!

I'm interested to hear how you like the DVDs. I just signed up for my first Zumba class, it starts next week. I'm soooo excited. But it might be nice to have the DVDs at home too.

ok, i keep seeing the zumba dance informercial on tv and i want to try it SO bad! for those of you who ordered, how is it going? do you like it?

I have them. They came last week. Have done the 20 minute whatever its called and gone over the section where it breaks down the steps to teach you a couple of times. I love it!!!!!! Haven't had a chance to do it this week as we've been running off to VBS every evening but looking forward to starting a daily program. Have a couple of friends who want to do it as well, we are going to try to get together 3 times a week and Zumba....they are pitching me a few $$ to help pay for the cost of the DVD's. It's so much fun!!!! At the time it doesn't really feel like exercise but once I sat down afterwards I could tell I'd had a workout.

I had been seeing some friends (in other states/areas) post about Zumba on Facebook and looked into it in my area....only a few classes and they didn't fit my schedule so I ordered the DVDs.

Just placed my order :)

Anyone else have the set?

Question for those of you with the DVDs...... Are they all Zumba songs, or do they include some recognizable/radio-type songs?
At the class I go to, she uses some Zumba music but also mixes in a little Shakira type stuff.

i was wondering the same thing-none of the music in the infomercial sounds familiar at all. i'm afraid that i would become bored with the DVDs and stop doing them, once i get the routine down. it happens each time i get a new exercise DVD, and these are so expensive, i really can't afford to get bored with them, lol. unfortunately, the closest fitness center that has a class is over 20 miles and almost 40 minutes away, in downtown traffic.

I just received my DVDs today. Because of time I didn't even get through the instructional steps. It seems a bit tricky but fun once (if) you get it down.

I tried a class last friday and loved it. But I don't think I could get my self motivated to do it on my own at home.

Thankfully the instructor at my dance studio will be teaching it twice a week and you can opt to go both days or just once a week. Since I go to the studio twice a week now, one extra day won't make a difference to me. Plus I'll be doing it with my friends and not alone.

Good luck to those who are doing Zumba at home. We will have to keep updating to see how we are all doing. :thumbsup2

I've been doing the 20 minute express at home for almost 2 weeks now and love it!!!!!!!

It really is an all over work out. Can already see definition in my upper arms that I wouldn't have really expected to get from this.

I don't find them boring at all and the 20 minute express goes by so fast, it's so much fun!!!!!!

Moving on to the Cardio party in the next week or so and will alternate it daily with the 20 minute express.
