Yet billions & billions served is telling, no?
Very true.
Yet billions & billions served is telling, no?
This thread will get closed for being off topic if it becomes a discussion of what kids should and shouldn't eat and makes comments about what other posters feed their kids - this isn't a parenting forum.
I appologize if mine was one of those that sounded preachy. Was just something bothering me about the negativity about kids who happen to be picky eaters.
They may or may not be vegan, but lunch offers both a salad entree and a vegetable quiche. Dinner offers ratatouille.
nansmama said:I think the menu looks great. The pics aren't THAT bad, except for the meatloaf one. It just looks like normal stuff most people would serve for supper. I do wish Disney would have healthier options in ALL the restaurants, and not just for kids. Some of the adult menus are super sketchy as well.
I appreciated your comments, personally. We have a dd8 who has sensory issues and it has been a struggle. She also has ADHD. It is funny how quick people are to judge others.. Not all situations are as easy to fix as we would like them to be, believe me!
With that being said, Are there any vegetarian options? My dd loves shrimp, but oddly has problems with meat that has a stringy texture. I wish she did not.. But two food therapists later.. It is what it is.
Thanks!
Ok-so let's turn this thread around- many agree- pbj and nuggets should not be the only options at DW for kids but many also agree the choices presented at be our guest for kids are also not 'good' or 'appetizing'...SOOOO if YOU had to create a kids menu for be our guest- what would you put on it?
I'd put the standard nuggets as an option, I'd keep the steak and the chicken and perhaps throw some sort of carb- like a baked potato instead of just veggies on the plate. I'd keep the veggies but add a carb too. I also like the fish option- I'd keep that too. dump the meatloaf yuck.
I think the question is would the adults at the table be happy to eat those meals if the meals were brought out to them (in bigger portions of course). Maybe if I was doing the Atkins diet at home. But on vacation? No way. Those meals would all be sent right back. They don't look seasoned or flavorful.
Kids are on vacation too. Save the bland chicken breast and broccoli for home.
