You're Going AGAIN?????

Hey there!

Your title drew me in, and now I'm along for the ride! :thumbsup2

Well Hiya!!!!! So glad you stopped by!!! Yep, my title is what I hear every time I tell someone I'm going to Disney --- again!!! I just don't get what their problem is??? WDW is the best place to be!!!! :cool1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll forgive you for lurking since you used that pic of Karen!
:rotfl:

Hey, lurking is fun! I happen to like lurking! What do you guys think I do when I'm bored at work?

So, Ann, your coworker went to Disney Paris and had the nerve not to bring in pictures?!? What was he thinking? I would love to go there some day. I hope he remembered the pictures today!

A scrapbook of Victoria's daycare years sounds like such a great idea! I bet she'll love that and it'll be such a nice keepsake for her when she's an adult :goodvibes:

Now as far as this infamous picture that seems to be showing up on so many PTRs...I think I need to "borrow" it too! I just need an excuse to post it. Hmm... :rotfl:

Oh Erin, you are sooooooo right.....the infamous Karen pic should be on EVERYONE'S ptr!!! It's a prime example of how to enjoy yourself in the Mexico pavillion!!! She'll NEVER find out you borrowed it!!! :rotfl2:

Yeah, I really do enjoy my scrapbooking!! I just wish I actually took the time to do it more often, but that darned old housework gets in the way!! :laundy: Not fair!!!

Still waiting for Coy's bday pics, speaking of pics..........;)

I know, I know. Coy's birthday was 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I am ashamed of myself  LOL! But I absolutely WILL get it posted tonight! Mark my words! :lmao:

Hi Ann, how was your Easter, I hope you guys had a wonderful day. It was 75 degrees here, i hope you got the nice weather too!

Yep… This is me…..the slacker!!! :lmao: I do have somewhat of an excuse though….my laptop is doing some really funky things lately. I think it has a virus in it and I can’t seem to clean it out. Oh, it’s still usable, it just likes to sign me out and I really hate logging in every 5 minutes. Ugh!! :headache:

So, let’s see….we had a very nice Easter. I did have Peter and Victoria do an Easter egg hunt at our house first and when they had found all their eggs they each got a gift card. Victoria got one for itunes (of course) and Peter got one for Sears (he is such a tool geek --- you would not believe!!)

We then had dinner at my cousin Lisa’s house. There’s about 28 people there. It was your typical ham, potatoes, etc. The little kids then had an Easter egg hunt which they enjoyed. Around 4pm we left to come home as Victoria was feeling anti-social and it’s just easier to take her away from the situation then to fight with her about it. :rolleyes1

Peter had last week off from work so that was wonderful!! I got to see him everyday for lunch ;) and he got a lot done around the yard. He had rented a backhoe (I think??) and made big dirt piles all over!! Actually, that’s his way of evening out the lawn. Now he needs to put down some grass seed and we will be all set! He has all the rebar set down for pouring the concrete for his driveway leading to the garage. He decided on concrete instead of pavement…whatever. I really don’t care!!!

On Friday, April 29th I headed down to Manchester, NH for the Creating Keepsakes scrapbook convention with my friend Laurie from work, her sister in law Linda and Linda’s friend. We were actually just going down for the vendor booths. OMG!!!! That place was CRAZY!!! Mobs and mobs of people!!! It was amazing, though!! I mean, I’ve been to home shows, garden shows, etc. but this was all scrapbooking supplies. Who knew there were so many products out there!! :confused3 Some of the vendors had make & take projects so I made a Mother’s Day card and a really cool layout for one of Victoria’s pics. I found some of the booths to be extremely expensive and others not so bad. One thing I know for sure is that next year, I will definitely bring more than $60 to spend!!! I felt deprived!! But, if I would have purchased all I wanted to, I would have spent $200!!! :hippie: We did pack lunches and snacks to save a little bit of money! There were tonz of displays and lots on Disney!! Would you believe some vendors still had MGM STUDIOS…..:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I had to laugh!! My disfriends would know better!! I was able to get a country page for each of the countries in Epcot. Normally you wouldn’t be able to find all of the countries, so I was excited!! That particular vendor was from Utah and he was awesome to talk to. A really funny story to go along with the show……well, as we were all talking in the van on the way down, Linda’s friend Marie and I discovered we are 3rd cousins!!! Too funny!!! Her father was my grandfather’s cousin! It’s such a small world!! Oh and the Disney-related portion of the trip ---- it takes about 2 ½ hours to get down to Manchester from home. So, on the day our flight leaves, we’ll have to be out the door by 6am anyways. I really enjoyed my day at the convention, but I didn’t win any of the door prizes…boo hoo!! :sad1:

On Saturday, I got up early to set up my Avon table at the Pittston PTC Scrap event. MAJOR FLOP!!! :furious: First of all they didn’t have a table already set aside for me so I had to use the table I was going to scrap at for my Avon stuff. Then I only had one person visit my table and sign up for the gift set I was giving away. C’mon people --- a chance to win a bath set!!! Unreal!! I sign up for EVERYTHING so I just didn’t understand! So now I have tons of products I purchased to have onhand. I thought I’d sell at least some of it. I know I could return it, but that’s a pain. And I ran out of pictures to scrap. I thought I had brought plenty with me, but apparently I was a fast scrapper on Saturday, so for about an hour I had nothing to do but sit there. I actually ended up leaving early. It’s so much more fun when you have friends to scrap with at an event like that. I probably should have known better, but hey, I gave it a try, right??? :confused3

On Sunday we took a family drive to the coast again. I know, I know, we always seem to go to the coast, but really, there is nothing like the smell of the ocean, the sounds of the waves and the seagulls. I love it!!! I keep telling Peter he needs to buy me a house on the coast. I don’t care if it’s just a little shack, just as long as it’s on the water! Yes, that is a pipe dream….oh well…..it’s fun to dream!! :cloud9:

I took this pic standing up through the sunroof!!

So there’s not too much else happening here. I did go to Home Depot and pick up some Mickey heads, but I only got 60!! I was trying for 100, but it’s not like I’m going to sit there and count them all out. I’ll have to go back sometime this week. Our 100 day is on May 31st and I want to have them up by then to do our countdown. I did get a letter from Victoria’s school yesterday warning that she’s missed 15 days already and she can only miss 20 total before they will hold her back. She has until June 21st to go, so I think she will be all set. Ugh!!! Let’s hope!!!

Mother’s day is Sunday and we’ll be taking my Mom out to Longhorn’s for lunch. I’ve invited both my brothers to come but one brother will not ask for time off from his part time job (yes, he also works full time, too) and I haven’t heard back from my other brother. Gee, I’m so glad family is so important to them…….

So, that’s my update for now!!!! Wasn’t it worth the wait???

Totally worth the wait! ;)

I'm so jealous that you can just go to the beach whenever you feel like it! Gorgeous!

Sorry your Avon table was a flop, but it sounds like the scrapbooking convention was awesome! I'm trying really hard to resist looking into it b/c I KNOW I'll get hooked and I need all my money to go to Disney right now, not a new hobby!

Love your beach pictures!! The scrapbooking event sounds like tons of fun-- I wish there was an event near me where I could go buy a ton of Disney stuff!

Yup, totally worth the wait! It looks like you guys had a fun Easter. Also, the scrapbooking event sounds cool! I'm sorry about your Avon table not going well at the other event, though. But at least you tried something! And trying something is better than nothing! I've basically done nothing with Pampered Chef, but it just so happens that I registered for a table today at a community yard sale next weekend! I'm hoping to get some leads on customers and maybe make some sales. But it's a yard sale, so we'll see. Anyway, better luck next time you have a table :goodvibes Oh, and I'm so jealous of you being able to drive to the coast. It looks beautiful there!

Love the beach pics- and the one you took through the sunroof, lol. When we have the sunroof open the kids always want to stand up there WHILE I'M DRIVING! I usually let them do it once we pull into our driveway- yep, I'm a pushover.

I'm sure it was so great having lunch with Peter while he was off work. My hubby has taken to calling me on his lunch break lately. I  it.

What an awesome weekend!!! :cloud9: I got my flowers planted in the hanging planters and my strawberry plants in the ground! It was supposed to be rainy, but it turned out to be really nice.

On Saturday, we took a drive. I know we usually go out to the coast, but this time Peter decided to head northwest --- up towards the mountains! That was such a nice drive. Along the way we came upon…….

A MOOSE!!!!!

So cool!!! Then we stopped along a lake in Wilton. That was really pretty. Would you believe I forgot my camera :scared1: so those pics I took were with my camera phone. They are not great, but you get the idea. We also determined that the new vehicle gets 29 miles per gallon and most of those miles were in town, so I’m pretty pleased.

I bet you are all dying to find out what I got for Mother’s Day from my wonderful husband….I got a new rabbit hutch!!!!

hutchPetermade.jpg

I don’t usually go into his garage, so he was able to build it with me not knowing. I can’t believe Victoria knew and didn’t tell me. Apparently he didn’t think the one I built last year was going to hold up too much longer. What do you guys think…..

hutchImade.jpg

We then took my Mom out to Longhorn’s for lunch.

Picture007.jpg

I wasn’t able to eat much due to my stupid lap band and that just gets me pissed, but anyways…..Victoria (with Mom’s help) got me a hanging planter with purple pansies --- my favorite! My Mom also had the servers at Longhorn’s sing Happy Birthday to me as this Wednesday is my birthday. Here is my awesome birthday sundae….

Picture008.jpg

yes, FOOD PORN!!!! :lmao:

After we went to my Mom’s for a little bit while I planted the flowers I got for her. She has this barrel planter that she has out every year and I fill it for her. We then headed home and I asked Peter if we could go see if the seafood place was open so that I might pick up some clams……oh, there’s nothing like steamers and that’s what I really felt like eating, since I couldn’t eat lunch. OMG!!! They were so good! And I didn’t have to share because neither Peter nor Victoria like them. Heeee heeeee! Afterwards, I started some seeds inside for watermelon, pumpkins, etc. There’s still a slight risk of frost, so I can’t quite plant them outside yet. Usually by Memorial Day it is safe to plant.

Then the rest of the weekend was spent doing the typical laundry :laundy:, vacuuming, etc. I got a lot done!!

That hutch is just gorgeous!! Nothing like a man who can build things!
