95 minutes for me today and I'm feeling pretty good about that.

I did my first track workout for a while and it kicked my butt, I also did two short walks.

I was a cheerleader for one year in 8th grade. It was an epic fail. :)
 
60 minutes of swimming for me today so that brings me to 487/1575 :)
 

Adding 90 minutes today. I did a 45 min run followed by 45 min of what I have decided to call "power raking" or, rake the leaves really fast before it gets dark and the family gets cranky because they need to be fed!

Congrats to MRS AR and all the wine and dine runners this weekend! Heard it was a cold wet one. That is unfortunate to hear bc it's a wonderful race! I can't wait to be there next year.

63 minutes today...Chalean Extreme "Get Lean Intervals" and "Recharge" (cardio, light weight strength, and stretching/yoga).

The scale may not be budging for me, but I'm eating very healthy and balanced and working out regularly. I wanna punch the scale in the face though...I was sure I had lost last week but didn't. Clothes are getting a little looser though I wish I could change my mindset and focus only on that rather than focusing on both that and the scale. I'm going to a weight watchers meeting tomorrow morning...taking advantage of the fact I am off tomorrow for Veterans Day. Not setting an alarm though...if I don't make the 9:45 meeting I will go to the 11:15 one.

Do you all get frustrated with the scale when you do everything right too? I don't know what's up with this but it seems over the last year it won't budge in the right direction. Sometimes it creeps up a little bit for no apparent reason, then it just stays there. :(

Good Morning.

Happy Veteran's Day. We're so fortunate in our Country to have the freedoms we have. I didn't have to think twice about getting up this morning and going for a run. It's hard to imagine that in some countries as a woman, I wouldn't be allowed to do that, or as a citizen I wouldn't feel safe going out in the dark even to get into a car and drive to the gym. We can cross state borders to visit the places we love without having to show I.D. And even though I'm complaining about my job this week, I know that I'm fortunate to not only have one, but to work in a country where education is valued and where the government doesn't dictate exactly what we teach and exactly how we teach it.

Life is good - even when I forget to be thankful.

Overall, we're looking strong! My guess is that we'll have our first members of Purple Power tomorrow.

I know I'm pressing forward to that goal. It'll be a few days for me, but that's ok as long as we Keep Moving Forward!

I went back to a weight watchers meeting this morning. It turns out I'm doing everything right. I guess I'll forge ahead and just keep at it! Eventually hopefully the scale will go down.
