Your ULTIMATE SURVIVAL GUIDE to Disney World at Christmas Time! UPDATE x2 10/21

I posted on twitter:
Holiday wishes = #crying. SO BEAUTIFUL OMG. It's beautiful
seeing it from the room, but actually being here is absolutely breathtaking.

I agree with you, Jess. That show looks amazing! :woohoo: And since I'm heading back to Heaven this December, I'll get a chance to see it!

party:

Well, keep up the amazing work, Jess!

Wow, Holiday Wishes looks amazing!! "Regular" Wishes makes me cry every time, but I still can't get enough of it!

Christmas Tip #32: To get the best picture of the Grand Floridian Christmas tree, you have to lay down on the pink circle in the rug and take the picture.

I know what I'm doing on my Dec. 2012 trip! I'm gonna get me a pic of the GF tree while lying down on a pink circle!

I love that your dad is wearing a Brewers shirt! AWESOME!:thumbsup2

Haha thank you! He must have gone to one of their games in the past!

Great review, thanks for sharing it! I'm definitely going to keep watch for a res for the dessert party!

You're so welcome! You definitely should - it was an AMAZING experience! I loved it!

Well hello my fellow free-from-school friend! Time for me to play some catch-up!

WOOHOO finally!! I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon because my grades will finally be posted! YEAH YEAH! But anyways... yay for catching up!

I love hanging out in the Poly as it is, if I was there with all the Christmas decorations, you would never get me to leave!

Haha I know! I went to the Poly so many times on this trip! I just love it!

I'm such a fan of the mega-berry smoothie many of the Disney restaurants have - I generally wind up getting it at least twice while I'm there. So good.

Mmm they are really good! I usually only drink water but getting that smoothie was a GOOD choice :thumbsup2

Since you brought up the college program, I've been meaning to ask - now that you've gotten a semester at your new school under your belt, have you spoken any more with you adviser about which semester you'll try to do the DCP?

I'm hoping for Spring 2014 :) So the second semester of my Junior year.

I hope I get to see the GF gingerbread house one day. Not just to see how massive it is, but the snacks inside look REALLY yummy.

It's just an all-around great experience!

I have so much to say about all your Contemporary pictures, but they really all just come back to my need to stay there one day. Not desire...NEEEEEED. Or any of the monorail resorts, let's be honest. One day...

Haha I completely understand. Disney trips are just SO much better if you're staying at a monorail resort or an Epcot resort. Like... heaven on earth. :lovestruc

I think being a guide for a Disney tour has to be one of the best jobs in the Parks. I love taking the tours, so I can only imagine how much fun it must be to give them and basically spend your entire day talking about Disney and getting paid for it. Seriously, what could be better?

It would! It's one of my ideas for potential life goals. I would LOVE to do that!! Considering I write about it so much... I might as well talk and get paid.

I TOTALLY HAD THAT RUDOLPH BOOK WITH THAT COVER.

PRECIOUS! :upsidedow

I'm impressed and jealous that you managed to eat at not one, but TWO mythical Disney dining establishments in one day. I seriously wish they used Diamond Horseshoe more often. I mean seriously, look at that place!

What can I say... I am a frump and I am proud. :goodvibes I wish they did too!

Your dessert party looks amazing. I'm really excited to see how the offerings differ at the dessert party Kristen and Allie are going to (in a couple days!!!). And I still can't hear the MM&Y soundtrack without tears forming in my eyes. Although...I'm not really a fan of the summer version. I like that they kept what they added for Valentine's Day, which the Tangled lanterns, but the new scenes just don't seem as good as the ones they removed.

It was!! I know, me too! And aww I know. MM&Y is like... my favorite of all favorite things. I LOVE it! And aww really? I haven't seen it. I LOVE the Tangled lanterns part. It just gets me EVERY TIME.

First I want to shout out to your Dad! "Way to rock a Milwaukee Brewers t-shirt!":thumbsup2 On Wisconsin!

You have the most beautiful photos. I wish my low light photos turned out like yours.

Did you use a tripod?)( if not, do you think you could?) Could you stand at the rail, people weren't complaining about a blocked view? Research for my trip!::yes::

Woohoo! Yeah, I don't remember when he went to that game but he loves that shirt!

Thank you so much!

I do not use a tripod.... hmmm I think you would be allowed! I don't see why not! :) I feel like I saw people using them.

Loving your TR Jess! :santa: Random question - do you carry a bag for the park? I assume you probably do to carry your camera, but you never seem to be holding one in the pictures of you!

Told you it was a random question :3dglasses

Thank you so much! And yes I do! It's my Disney '06 draw string backpack! It's navy blue. You would see it more in pictures if I'm in the parks. I'm sure it'll be pictured soon!

Haha random questions are the best questions!

So many things to say that I’m typing them in word as I read so I don’t forget anything! Haha. Ugh, we share such a love of the monorail…so much love.

Aww yay! Hahaha omg... Monorail... SO obsessed.

The Noodle station was open?!?! Practically everytime I pass by there I think of you and how you want to eat there, and never got to as it’s never open! I’m glad you finally got to!

YES!!! Hahaha I'm glad you guys think of me when you see the noodle station :lmao: I'm so glad I finally got to, too! It was on my Disney bucket list!

Ugh, those Christmas crowds look a little too intense for me! We were there the 14-17th and on the 17th we passed by MK on the monorail and were really glad we weren’t going there!

Yeah they were bad! I am immune to crowds though, for some reason. It didn't bother me too much.

Diamond Horseshoe totally does look like Hoop de Doo, that’s hilariously awesome!! Ack! Mashed potatoes are too delicious!

I know! YUM!

Oh my goodness your tweets are hilarious! (Did you post what you twitter was? I know I follow you on instagram, but would love to follow you on twitter too if that’s okay!) I know what it’s like to walk around in circles when the lines are too long, that was me in DLR in March!!

My twitter is PrincessJess508 :) Just like my instagram. Tweet me so I know that it's you!

Oh my gosh dessert buffets?! TOO MUCH, I’m totally that person who at buffets gets one of everything for dessert, it just doesn’t matter! I’ll take at least 1 bite of everything, then go back for seconds of what I’d like! The wishes dessert party looks like something I would totally love to do, desserts, prime firework viewing area, definitely a grand idea on a busy night like boxing day!

Yup. Me too. My plates at buffets are always OBNOXIOUS. And I always finish them and I always get seconds and I always get dessert. I'm such a fatty :rotfl2: No shame. It's part of the frump life. I LOVED the dessert party - I definitely recommend it!

Ugh! That holiday castle is toooo gorgeous, I mean, the castle’s pretty enough as is, but at Christmas, I can’t even take it anymore!

I know... I can't even get over it!

I like your dad's Sabres gear. lol

Sabres and Bills fan represents :thumbsup2

I love the Laugh Floor too. I went one time right at opening and there were maybe 10 people total. The lady chosen for the "Psychotic" monster didn't speak English. It was unintentionally hilarious.

Isn't it fun!? Haha that's hilarious! They always pick non-english-speaking people for those roles when I go, too!

You have some amazing fireworks pictures! I always take a million fireworks pictures too, but that's usually because I'm not sure how any of them will look once I have them on a bigger screen! :rotfl: Ah, the joys of faulty technology!

I'm glad that the dessert party seems like it's worth it. I had read several posts on other threads that people thought it was kind of a rip-off, but between the tasty food and the primo fireworks spot, it seems like a good time!

I love the Buzz Lightyear queue music too! It always makes me feel like I'm a little kid again!

Thank you so much! I do the exact same thing! Then I end up with hundreds of pictures and I have to delete the majority of them anyways!

It was! People are honestly much too critical. I don't see what could possibly be wrong - it's desserts and Wishes! Two of the best things in the world! I absolutely loved it!

Ahhh I know! It's awesome.

What a day! You killed it - navigating crowds, eating at two elusive spots and ending it with the dessert party. The pics were fantastic. I don't understand why your little brother doesn't see how wonderful it is to fall asleep to loops of "TEST TRACK, BABY!!". What could be more relaxing?!

Aww thank you! I thought it was pretty successful, too! Thank you so much! And I KNOW! He has a major problem. :rolleyes2

Great updates and pix! I'm so glad they reminded me about Diamond Horseshoe and the Wishes Dessert Party!! Reservations aren't open for these yet for our New Year's trip, but I marked my calendar to check again at 90 days out. :goodvibes

We plan to do MK on 12/30 (since they do their NYE Wishes show that night too), and then do Epcot on 12/31 (since hubby luvs Illuminations... and to see the special NYE version will send him over the moon!! pixiedust:). So anyway, I hope to get ressies if they do the dessert party on the 30th!

Thank you so much! Haha yes, keep an eye out for them! I kept adjusting my trip reservations until right before I left! However, I ended up being very happy with my decisions!

The next time I go to Disney for Christmas, that is EXACTLY my plan! Be warned that the crowds are RIDICULOUS, especially at Epcot on NYE. However, it's worth it. I heard that the fireworks are beyond incredible!!

Oh my gosh, I just read your first post and subscribed. I have a feeling it's going to take me quite a while to catch up! But don't worry, I'm up for the challenge! :thumbsup2

Aww that's so kind! I hope that you'll be able to read through it all! Take your time - it'll always be here for you! Thank you so much! :goodvibes

I love the Wishes Dessert Party! We did that on our last trip in June, and it was amazing! We were in the front row too!!! :thumbsup2 It was so crowded there, though! Like angry mobs yelling at angry mobs...it got ugly near the food! :rotfl:

WOW at the crowds! That is insane! :scared:

Beautiful pictures of Wishes, though! Such a beautiful show!

I love it too! I'm glad you guys had a great experience! I'm surprised that I didn't experience anything like that - especially because I was there during Christmas week!

I know! It was scary!!

Thank you so much! I agree.

Bump.

Great trip report!

Thank you very much!

I got goosebumps and almost teary looking at this! We are going in two months and can't wait but now I really want to play a Christmas-time trip!

Aww thank you! I hope you have a MAGICAL trip! And you should definitely look into planning a holiday trip sometime! It was one of the best experiences of my life!!

Also is the Magic, Memories and you show on the castle right before Wishes?

Yes it is! :)

Beautiful pictures of the Castle- that looks like a perfect view. You got some really nice shots of the whole family!

Going to WDW at Christmastime is definitely on my Bucket List. Those crowds- not so much!!!

Thank you so much! It was great! I went up to the railing to take the fireworks/MM&Y pictures, but our table was in an awesome spot!

Haha yeah, you can always go at the beginning of December to avoid those crowds!

Roz is one of my favorites!! I'm glad you like her too. And the Laugh floor is so fun. They used one of our jokes once. I found that very exciting, but I am easily impressed.
And I love all of the pics you took AT NIGHT! That makes me smile every time.

Me too! It is really fun! Ahh that's exciting!! I would be flippin' out!
Thank you! Haha I'm glad you appreciate my cheesy humor :lmao:

I totally tear up for the MM&Y show - especially when Walt does his park open speech. :tinker:

What an amazingly magical day! From the behind the scenes tour to the holiday fireworks show. Priceless! ::yes::

Me TOO. Every stinkin' time. That and the Tangled lanterns. It just gets to me. :lovestruc

Thank you very much!

I agree with you, Jess. That show looks amazing! :woohoo: And since I'm heading back to Heaven this December, I'll get a chance to see it!

party:

Well, keep up the amazing work, Jess!

Disneydude97
the Man-Frump

I'm glad you think so! I hope you have a magical trip!

Will do!

Wow, Holiday Wishes looks amazing!! "Regular" Wishes makes me cry every time, but I still can't get enough of it!

Oh, I know. As much as I love Holiday Wishes, the regular one is really special to me! I just love it so much!

I know what I'm doing on my Dec. 2012 trip! I'm gonna get me a pic of the GF tree while lying down on a pink circle!

Hahaha don't forget! It's an exhilarating experience :rotfl:

Thanks for responding to my comment, Jess! And can't wait for the next part of your Christmas adventures! Keep it up, my fellow frump!

And the Dancing Bananas thank you, too!

FRUMPS FOREVER!

Chapter 75: Our Morning At/On The Wave(s)
December 27th, 2011

Suddenly, it was time to wake up again. Every time I hear that phone ring for our wake-up call, I jump! It’s so loud!!

I posted on twitter:
Everytime the wake up call sounds I spaz out. I feel like I just went to sleep two minutes ago.

It definitely does the trick, though! I was up and ready by 8 o’clock sharp. Jonathan wouldn’t get up, so Mom, Dad, and I went down to our 8:20 am breakfast reservation.

We were dining at The Wave!

dsc04282p.jpg

We were seated immediately because there were barely any people there! Here is the view from our table:

dsc04302r.jpg

Our waitress’ name was Alexandra. She was very quiet and had a thick accent. All I remember about her was that she didn’t bring me my water until the end of the meal. I was not happy about that!

The Wave not only has a full breakfast menu but also an entire buffet!

Mom chose to order off the menu. She got the Egg White, Spinach, Mushroom, and Cheese Frittata. She LOVED her breakfast. She said it was excellent. I thought that it smelled great, so I bet it tasted even better!

dsc04412f.jpg

I went the healthy route and ordered the Multi-Grain Waffle. Overall it was pretty good, but it was a little dry. Ah well, I still liked it. (Why did I order that dreadful Disney bacon AGAIN!? I will never learn.)

dsc04432d.jpg

Dad ended up choosing the buffet! It only cost $19.99, which is cheaper than pretty much all other Disney buffets! It also came with two drinks.

There were a lot of options, the fruit was fresh, and Dad was very happy with his decision! He really enjoyed the variety The Wave had to offer! He got tons of great food!

Here are some buffet pictures:

LOL the wave has environmentally friendly paper straws!! #arentthoseananimalkingdomthing?

dsc04442u.jpg

I enjoyed eating at The Wave for breakfast. I wouldn't make a special trip over here, but it's definitely worth going to if you're staying at the Contemporary!

Once we finished eating, Mom and I went to Contempo Café. Just look at these LOVELY breakfast items:

dsc04472y.jpg

We grabbed Jonathan a Mickey Waffle for his breakfast. Just look at this beautiful waffle in all of it's Disney glory... ♥ ♥ ♥

dsc04482v.jpg

We went upstairs, brought Jonathan his food, and got changed into warmer clothes. It was a little chilly outside!

Our next order of business was our Fishing Excursion! My Dad really wanted to go on one during our next family vacation, so I made sure to incorporate it into our plans!

We had to go to the boat dock behind the Contemporary to check in. We took a seat and then our boat captain came to find us. His name was Terry.

We followed him to our boat and we were off on our excursion!

dsc04502.jpg

I posted on twitter:
I'm on a boat. A fishin' boat! This would be Dad's favorite part of the trip. #somethingforeveryone

While we were cruising around Seven Seas Lagoon, we could see some of the Magic Kingdom Resorts! Such as the Contemporary…

dsc04492h.jpg

(Oh in this picture you can see the Castle and Space Mountain, too!)

dsc04592x.jpg

And Wilderness Lodge!

dsc04602hw.jpg

My parents were so happy!

dsc04542l.jpg

Kristen and Kara – SHIELD YOUR EYES! There are some bird pictures coming up…

dsc04552c.jpg

dsc04572g.jpg

PHEW, you're safe.

We threw our lines in, however we didn’t have the best of luck at the first spot. We had to keep trying!

Chapter 76: Our Fishing Excursion and Back to The Wave!
December 27th, 2011

I took a couple more resort pictures because really, can you ever have too many of those!? I think not.

dsc04642j.jpg

I MISS WILDERNESS LODGE. I want to stay there so bad. It has been far too long.

dsc04892dv.jpg

dsc04652v.jpg

We left the spot where we weren’t having any luck. Dad and Jon tried the trolling technique, where they threw their lines out of the back of the boat while it was moving. Again – no luck!

Then we pulled up to the dock at Wilderness Lodge and we started getting some bites!

dsc04722mf.jpg

Jonathan caught the first fish!

dsc04662kj.jpg

I caught the second one! WOOHOO!

dsc04672oq.jpg

I posted on twitter:
I CAUGHT A FISH I CAUGHT A FISH!!! (:

dsc04692i.jpg

My Mom was like "KISS THE FISH LIKE THEY DO ON TV!" hahaha very funny. I pretended to.

dsc04702y.jpg

Look at me, I'm like a professional fisherwoman.

dsc04712p.jpg

This is my Dad in action! YEAH FISHING!

dsc04732b.jpg

dsc04742e.jpg

My Dad caught the biggest fish of the day!

dsc04752o.jpg

The "Kiss the Fish" joke kept running on, so he had to do it too! I PROMISE YOU he's not really kissing the fish in this picture, but it seriously looks like it. It's the angle of the camera hahaha. Pretty convincing though, huh?

dsc04762x.jpg

Here's Jonathan with another fish!

dsc04782x.jpg

Mom caught some, too! Terry held this one up for her, though, because she didn't want to touch it. HEY TERRY, ya made the trip report. Congratulations!

dsc04812n.jpg

As you can see in the picture above, the people on the boat dock were watching us fish! When we caught one they would get all excited and sometimes they’d even clap for us! How frumpy!

There was this random guy who started playing the bagpipes on the deck at the Wilderness Lodge. Apparently he doesn’t work for Disney but he comes dressed up in costume and plays his music all the time. He played Jingle Bells for us all. It was really cute! He just had a good time for himself.

I posted on twitter:
Bag pipe entertainment at the wilderness lodge boat dock. what a life.

Every time a Magic Kingdom boat would arrive at the dock, the fish would swim our way and we would get some bites! YAY!

dsc04842z.jpg

I caught the VERY last fish within minutes before we had to leave!!

I posted on twitter:
I caught the last fish of the fishing trip!!! (: I feel so accomplished.

dsc04862z.jpg

The final fish count:
Me - 2
Dad - 3
Jonathan - 3
Mom - 4

I would say that's a pretty successful trip!

dsc04872si.jpg

Our excursion lasted from 10-12 and we had to pay for it at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. We made a stop there while we were on the boat, so that was convenient. We got a 15% Disney Vacation Club discount! How AWESOME!

Christmas Tip #37: Fishing Excursions get 15% discounts for DVC members! If you are a DVC Member or an Annual Passholder, make sure you ALWAYS ask if there is a discount available whenever you buy something!

Terry was a great captain! He is a Florida Resident, he has always loved fishing, and he has been working for Disney for 14 years. He knew a lot about Disney and we talked about the Disney College Program, the Candle Light Processional, etc. He was excited that I wanted to be a cast member one day! He was very relaxed and laid-back kind of guy. My Dad and Terry got along really well. They chatted about the Florida Keys and Sanibel Island.

I forgot to mention that there were complementary drinks included on our boat! There was coke, water, etc. Disney thinks of everything!

Terry brought us back to the Contemporary and dropped us off there. We had such a great time! My Dad really was happy that we had the chance to do that, and I was happy that he was happy! YAY FOR DISNEY FAMILY EXPERIENCES!

dsc04902cq.jpg

dsc04912u.jpg

We went back up to the room. The maid was currently in there, but she kept cleaning while we minded our own business.

I spent some time catching up on my trip journal because I fell very far behind! Thankfully I was able to get up to speed!

I posted on twitter:
CAUGHT UP ON THE TRIP JOURNAL. #soaccomplished now its time to do some more stuff so I have more to write about :P #itneverends #goodthing

We were going to wait until dinner to eat, but we were all really hungry. I changed (again) and we decided to go back to The Wave and grab a quick bite! It was raining anyways so we wanted to stay inside.

dsc05002lk.jpg

I posted on twitter:
Today is "rock all of the disney crew necks i own" day. #ohwaitthatseveryday #todayparticularly

dsc04952e.jpg

We were seated without a reservation, which was awesome!

Jonathan got a Chocolate Milkshake that looked DELICIOUS!

dsc04922rj.jpg

Dad got a Mega-Berry Smoothie, which also looked fantastic!

dsc04932o.jpg

For lunch, Mom and I split the Turkey Sandwich and seafood chowder. It had some cranberry type sauce on it but it was really good! It was perfect to split before our early dinner! The soup was also yummy – it had a kick to it! Jonathan got the same thing for himself, and Dad just waited it out until dinner.

Overview of The Wave (For Both Breakfast and Lunch):
Waitress: Alexandra (Breakfast) and Janilee (Lunch)
Service: Alexandra had a thick accent and a quiet voice, so it was very hard to hear her. She didn’t bring my water until the end of the meal. Janilee was very pleasant and efficient! 3/5
Atmosphere: Relaxed and classy, and it was never busy! 4/5
Food: Good, but nothing extraordinary. It was convenient, though, and perfect for what we needed. I won’t be rushing back, but I did enjoy it. 3.5/5

The wave is gorgeous inside....it looks like such an amazing restaurant and breakfast and lunch both looked delicious.

I've never seen anyone review the fishing excursion before and it looks like you guys all had a great time :goodvibes

Ahh The Wave.... my DD has had the multi-grain waffles and made an ick face so I'm thinking they were not as good as they looked! ;) I'm glad your mom ordered the frittata - I've been eyeing that.

The part of your review that totally excited me was the fishing excursion!!! I really want to hook my DH up (ha, no pun intended) with a fishing line in the water while we are staying at BLT. :lmao: Do you pay by the person or by the boat?? We are not DVC owners but have APs so maybe there is some small discount. :confused3 I'm assuming it is catch and release and that you didn't bring those fishies back with you. :upsidedow

So I've been reading all this dessert talk and getting really jealous because our travel agent said there were no places free for us in august... anyway, I just thought I'd check and see again... AND I FOUND A FREE PLACE!!! so excited!! We couldn't get in for our honeymoon! I can't wait!! Now I don't have to be so jealous of your pictures!!!:cool1:

After stumbling upon your other trip report, I found this one! Beautiful pics of the fishing excursion and Contemporary.

Now I have a lot of catching up to do...:rotfl:

What's this? Am I commenting the day after an update has been made?? Now that's what I call progress ;-)

I think The Wave has one of my favorite entrances to any Disney restaurant. And I really like that you have the option of doing the buffet or ordering off the menu for breakfast. I wish more places gave you that option!

I've never actually known anyone who has done one of the fishing excursions, so it was cool to see it on your TR. I know in about 2 years we're doing a BIG family trip for my nephew's first trip to Disney, and I think going fishing is something my parents would really enjoy! I love the views you were able to get of the resorts and MK while on the water too!

I like how they have a menu and a buffet at The Wave. I have never heard of any place at Disney do that before!

That would be so fun to cruise around Bay Lake. Something to think about for the future…

You can come with me to Disney next month. I’m staying at the Wilderness Lodge! ;)

I love how everyone is watching you guys fish. The little kids are so cute!

WOW! You guys caught a ton!

That chocolate milkshake at the Wave. It looks SO good!

Hi Jess, I really enjoy reading your trip reports! As I was reading your latest update this morning, imagine my surprise when I notice I know people in your photo!! If you look at the pic of your Mom with her fish, there is a family on the dock with 4 little boys. I graduated with the Mom and Dad (they were high school sweethearts) and those are their 4 sons!! The 3rd son in the row is the same age as my youngest and they played soccer together! What a SMALL world!! Anyway, I just had to share that with you, keep up the great reports!

Suddenly, it was time to wake up again. Every time I hear that phone ring for our wake-up call, I jump! It’s so loud!!

I posted on twitter:
Everytime the wake up call sounds I spaz out. I feel like I just went to sleep two minutes ago.

And that is pretty much why I don't want to get a Disney wake-up call.

Awww, so sweet that your family did the fishing trip together and made your dad happy. I am like that too, happy when others get to do what they really like. Those are some cute fishing pics.
I enjoyed the whole fishing report and like that you had more luck when the fish were scared into swimming in your direction.
The wave food looked wonderful even if it wasn't as awesome as other Disney food. I would be tempted to go over for breakfast sometime. I like finding places that are pretty and are not overly crowded.
Loved the update!! I hope you are having a good summer.

OMG I have been neglecting this TR! I'm terribly sorry... what a bad Dis friend I am. :sad2:

Your fishing trip is just PRECIOUS. Good lord. And I love that yall had a fishing audience hahaha. I have never been fishing in my LIFE (even though I kinda really want to!) but I think actually holding the fish would flip me out. I couldn't handle it. You are a brave soul.

AHHH the Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful. When have you stayed there before? I really want to stay there in like December sometime. PERFECT.

Okay so you're making me very glad that my family decided against the Wave. It doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary, so I'm glad! I was a little worried we might wish we were going or something.

The wave is gorgeous inside....it looks like such an amazing restaurant and breakfast and lunch both looked delicious.

I've never seen anyone review the fishing excursion before and it looks like you guys all had a great time :goodvibes

I agree! It is really pretty!
Aww we really did! I am so glad that we had the chance to do that - it was fun!

Haha yeah, they were alright. They were a bit bland. Yeah she REALLY liked that!
Aww you definitely should! It was a lot of fun! We paid for the entire boat! I feel like there has to be an AP discount on it! Maybe 10% or something. And yes, it is all catch and release.

So I've been reading all this dessert talk and getting really jealous because our travel agent said there were no places free for us in august... anyway, I just thought I'd check and see again... Thank you so much!

I know in about 2 years we're doing a BIG family trip for my nephew's first trip to Disney, and I think going fishing is something my parents would really enjoy! I love the views you were able to get of the resorts and MK while on the water too!

YES look at you! I'm proud.
It really is super pretty! I love it! And yeah, that's really awesome! There are a few other places like that... but I'm blanking right now. I just read a review on it too. Maybe it was somewhere at Disneyland, actually.
Ahh well now you do! Aww if you're doing a big trip then it would definitely be a great idea! This was our blow-out Christmas trip so we did a ton of cool stuff, and I'm so glad this was included! My Dad is always a big fan of going on boats! Thank you!

Yeah I think there are a few places.. but I think the other one I'm thinking of is at Disneyland. I can't remember where though.
It was REALLY fun! I have rented a boat before in the past... but I haven't done the actual fishing trip until this vacation! It was a lot of fun!
I would LOVE TO hahaha. If only I wasn't going to Disneyland! just kidding I really want to go.
Hahaha I know, that was too funny!
Yeah, I was so excited!
YUM! It was good.

Thank you! Oh my gosh, are you serious!?! That is SO funny hahaha. I can't even believe that!! That IS a small world! Out of all of the places in Disney. That is too funny!!! Thank you for sharing, that kind of stuff brightens my day! Thanks for reading!

And that is pretty much why I don't want to get a Disney wake-up call.

Haha but they sure do get you up in the morning!

It was really fun! Yes, me too! I'm glad you like them!
Yeah The Wave was good considering we were staying right at the CR. I won't be rushing back but I did enjoy it!
Thank you! I am tryin' my best haha... it sure has been a busy summer!

That's okay girl! I understand! I'm glad you're back!
Hahaha aww thank you! Maybe Disney would be a good place to go on your first fishing trip! Hahah I am my father's daughter.. I had to learn how to hold a fish when I was really little! I'm not a huge fan, but I can do it!
I know! I stayed there the summer after I was in 7th grade. I barely remember it. Such a shame, right!?
Yeah... it was alright. Since you only have so much time, I wouldn't make it a priority!
