Let's hear it.

What do you consider the "best" snack item at each of the four parks?? One that shouldn't be missed??

MK: Mickey Bar. For me, it's not an official WDW vacation until I have a Mickey Bar on Main Street. :goodvibes (for DW, it's a Dole Whip.)

Epcot: There's a candied pecan/almond stand on the edge of the lagoon on the FW side. Awesome! Freshly made on the spot. Nice and warm.

MGM: Pass--believe it or not, I don't think we've ever had a snack in MGM. :confused3

AK: Ditto.

MK: Dole Whip float

AK: frozen chocolate covered banana or fresh pinapple from the fruit stand (while waiting for the parade)

MGM: hot jalapeno cheese filled pretzel or raspberry white chocolate macadamia nut cookie (from the Villian's candy store)

Epcot: kaki gori from Japan

MK: Dole Whip

Epcot: Baklavah and a Turkish coffee from Morocco

AK: Frozen Banana or if the fruit stand has the large purple grapes, YUM!

MGM: Ice Mochaccino from the Writers Stop (Usually with one of their decadent cookies.)

MK - Dole Whip
Epcot - School Bread
AK - ice cream choc cookie
DS - can't think of one yet, but I think I'll try Villian's Candy Shop now

MK - Carmel Corn and Egg Rolls

Epcot - kakigori from Japan, something sweet from France, brat from Germany

MGM - pretzel from the stand by TOT

AK - nothing stands out to me

DTD - Ghiradelli chocolate

MK: Dole Whip/Big CC cookie from Main St. Bakery (tastes best while relaxing).

EPCOT: Big Pretzel from Germany (watch train) (DH: beer from UK)

AK: Strawberry Bar (boring, but tasty!)

MGM: Danish and coffee from Starring Rolls Bakery...best eaten while watching Beauty and The Beast show.

Magic Kingdom:
Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at the Sleepy Hollow - Warm toll house chocolate chip cookie with a slab of vanilla ice cream in the middle. YUUUUUUMMMMM!!!

Giant Mickey Rice Crispie Treat - YUM!!!

EPCOT:
Boulangerie Patisserie - The chocolate mousse is excellent here!!

Animal Kingdom: Frozen chocolate covered banana

In MK it is definately the Dole Whip, and for my DH and the kids it is always the Mickey Ears ice cream.

In Epcot it is the Chocolate Mousse in the French Pastry shop and for the kids it is the Elephant Ears.

In AK and MGM, not too sure, we don't really eat in those parks.

Magic Kingdom - I LOVE the icecream cookies at the Main Street bakery. They let you choose any two homemade cookies, and then put HUGE scoops of icecream between them. GREAT as a snack while awaiting a parade.

Epcot - I love the little pastries in France - yummmm!

MGM - Sorry, this one doesn't really apply, but I LOVE the ADULT beverages in the Tune-in Lounge! It is especially fun to get one of the specials to go with the light-up lightbulbs at night.

Animal Kingdom - I love sitting in the Rainforest Cafe on the animal stools for the appetizer platter.

Not really at a park, but at DTD at Goofys candy shop.. the make your own Rice Crispy treat is amazingly good.. I had one last time I was there (paid oop since i wasnt on DDP)... It was great, now that I know there on the DDP as a Snack, I will certainly be getting one or five.

What is Dole Whip? Seems to be a popular item. The create your own rice crispy treat sounds great by the way.

Dole Whip is a soft-serve frozen dessert available at individual ice-cream vendors all over the US and most notably at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and at Dole Foods' processing plant in Hawaii. It comes in the following flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Pineapple, Strawberry, Raspberry, Mango, and Orange.

At Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the Dole Foods' processing plant in Hawaii pineapple is the flavor of choice. It is served in a cup or in a glass of pineapple juice as a "Dole Whip Float" topped with a maraschino cherry and Polynesian paper umbrella. Its presence at Disneyland is a benefit of Disneyland's long-standing relation with Dole Foods, corporate sponsors of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. For many years, the snack bar at the entrance to Disneyland's Tiki Room was opened only sporadically; it may be surmised that pressure from park guests as well as Dole itself coupled with the park's new management played a role.

According to an interview with Steve "Tikiman" Seifert on the podcast WDW Today, Dole Whip is now available in Walt Disney World outside of the Magic Kingdom at the Disney's Polynesian Resort as part of the Captain Cook's counter service restaurant remodel.[1]

Though a Dole Whip has the taste and consistency of soft-serve ice cream, the dessert actually gets its texture from ordinary food thickeners. Only a small amount of the milk derivative sodium caseinate accounts for dairy content.
