Your Late EMH Experiences W/O FP+?

How have the wait times been for you in standby lines during evening EMH? We're considering an evening or two next Oct, haven't done an evening in years, before or during EMH.

I'd love to hear the answer to this as well. We've always avoided the park with EMH but clearly have to plan differently in this trip with FP+. Was thinking on an evening at MK during EMH too (last week of August).

during evening EMH, there is only a stand-by line as no FP times duiring EMH. Very short waits when we there there last month.

When we were there in December, everything except Peter Pan was pretty much a walk on during evening EMH. PP was 20 minutes.

We did a (well, I did) late EMH at MK on our last evening. Park cleared out by midnight/1am!

This is what I'm hoping for when I go next month. I'm doing AK one morning with an 8am open (that's NOT an EMH, btw) and then hopping to MK with an evening EMH. It's gonna be a long day, but I'm only staying the weekend so I need to cram as much in as possible. LOL

It depends on the date and the time. If you are avoiding race weekend, most October dates are low to mid crowd wise. Time is a big factor though. 11pm-1am the parks are great. Even better after 1 am if you can swing it. If EMH starts at say 9 it will still have the crowds it had during the day.

We were at MK last week (spring break crowd levels), and while we didn't stay for an EMH, I can tell you that by 11:00pm (midnight park closing), Space Mountain was under 20 minutes standby and Buzz was walk on.

EMH is our favorite time in the parks. Wait times are usually under 20 minutes for everything and several things will have walk on availability. I'm crossing my fingers we get that lucky on this upcoming trip again.

No EMH at the MK when I was there two weeks ago, but it was open until midnight the two nights we went. After Wishes, the crowds dissipate quite a bit. If you skip the fireworks, you can get a jump on the stragglers and get a lot done. SB lines were around 15-20 minutes for all but SpM in the last couple of hours that the park was open.
