Your favorite SOUP

Stuffed bell pepper soup is a favorite around here.

We like to try clam chowders when we travel, and find that west coast clam chowders are much better than east coast chowders.

I tried a new soup recipe a few weeks ago. Cheeseburger Soup, it got pretty good reviews that night, but the next day it was fabulous!! It was pretty simple and I got the recipe from pinterest.

I also like the Bear creek soup mixes, all are really good, and a quick fix meal.

I LOVE a good soup.

I have great recipes for potato cheese and broccoli cheese soups.

I like this one for Tomato Basil Soup from Ina Garten http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/roasted-tomato-basil-soup-recipe/index.html

Mr. Food's Website has an easy Shrimp and Okra Stew that is just like my mom's. They call it gumbo, but since I live so close to New Orleans, I can't call it a gumbo because a gumbo needs a roux and cooks low and slow.

Rachael Ray has an easy and delish French Onion Soup http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/oh-so-good-french-onion-soup-recipe/index.html

From a restaurant, Butternut Squash soup from either Crispers or The Mara at AKL!

Homemade, probably my spicy zucchini chicken chowder.

I'm not a huge soup fan however if French Onion is served anywhere I have to get it. Artists Point has a Smokey Portabella that is a must every time. Oh, and beer cheese- made with a darker, maltier beer that is normally used. Oh, and of course my homemade beef stew.

Baked Potato Soup from Longhorn is awesome!
I also like homemade potato soup :)

My favorite to make is homemade chicken noodle.

MY favorite to have when eating out is Tom Kha, a Thai coconut milk based chicken and vegetable soup. Yum!! MY second place would be Hot & Sour soup at a nice Chinese restaurant(the kind with lots of veggies and meats in it).

I LOVE soups. I usually make homemade (except Campbell's tomato and Mrs Grass double noodle).

My favorites are:

vegetable beef
potato and double corn chowder
lemon chicken orzo soup
beer and cheese (like le cellier)
mashed potato

My favorite to eat out is from a little place called the Loco Leprachaun and they have a killer chicken paprikash soup.

I am not big on canned or packaged soups, but I like the Trader Joe's roasted red pepper and tomato soup that comes in a box. I do like Panera's soups- I don't think I've ever had one I didn't like.

But my favorite soups are homemade.

Tonight I have Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup on the stove, and it is delicious!

I loooooooove TJ's roasted red pepper and tomato soup.

And I want to try that cheeseburger soup, but I'm going to make a vegetarian version with soy crumbles and veggie broth!

My favorite soup is the Charleston She Crab soup from Publix. We buy it by the bag from the deli and freeze it until we're ready to use it. Perfect for cold nights!

homemade ham and bean soup <3 to die for when made in a large kettle over an open fire!
or homemade beef veg. soup

Creamy Tomato Bisque with a grilled cheese sandwich

When we were in Seattle last fall, we ate at a restaurant in Pike Place called "Pike Place Chowder". It had the most to-die-for soup; a seafood bisque with a creamy tomato base. If I could find a way to duplicate that soup (AND have the fresh seafood available to me, because ours is always horrid) I would be in heaven. :lovestruc

I make all of my soups at home; homemade chicken noodle or chicken with rice, homemade Italian hamburger veggie, homemade split pea with sausage are all some family favorites.

If I am at a restaurant, I usually have a salad, but if French Onion is on the menu I might have that instead.

I also LOVE the cheese soup at Le Cellier in Canada. One of these days, I am going to try making it for myself at home.

Right now my favorite soup is my mom's recipe for Autumn Soup. It has ground beef, tomatoes, onions, celery, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and mushrooms in a beef broth base. Then I top it with parmesean.

When I was little I LOVED Campbell's Cream of Mushroom. I can't eat it now because it doesn't agree with my stomach.

Taco Soup (I think it was a Weight Watchers recipe)-really good and easy to make.

Chicken Enchilada Soup
Loaded baked potato soup
