I have to say that Shutters at CBR is completely overlooked. We missed a dinner reservation and ended up eating at Shutters. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I both had a delicious steak in a peaceful atmosphere. Service was A+ Then you can go for a walk on the beach afterwards.

Our hidden gem is Olivia's at OKW. It's not fancy like some others listed, however. It was laid back and comfortable and the food was good. That makes us happy

Good one! I often forget about this place when making reservations I went once in 2011 and loved it. Maybe I can find a spot for it in my upcoming trip! Thanks for the reminder!

I think I'm leaning toward Boma. AKL is on our "someday" resort wish list, so I'd love to check it out!!



Ironically, that's the one on the list we have been to! We loved it, but I'm in the mood to explore new places this trip.

We had an awesome experience at Boma! It was my husband's favorite night of our trip. We went early to AKL because we wanted to explore the resort and see the animals. A woman greeted us and then gave us a tour out to see the animals. She even showed us some hidden Mickeys. Then we had a bit more time and there was a man doing a drum circle and she asked if we wanted to be part of it, so we said of course! So all the kids got drums and were taught how to drum and did some activities, and they all got little drum beads on necklaces afterwards. How cool is that?! Then the food really was tasty. We have a harder time with buffet style only because we have so many young children but it was a nice environment and yummy food.
