Well, I Disney & Cruising .... hence the very cryptic screenname
I belong to the "Lisa" club of the mid 1960's.
We also homeschool our 2 boys
DH is a self employed contractor in the construction industry.
We are 900 miles from the Fort but head south every chance we get. Just returned in the wee hours this morning from a week at the Wilderness Lodge. Guess it's time to turn that gold (upcoming trips) line of my siggy to blue. Dang, I just did that to the FW date of 11/07. Now I got nuthin to look forward to for 10 long months. Back to reality tomorrow
this is exactly the same as me! i think back then, the message board concept was so new, we all assumed the real name was what we were supposed to use.

I used to be "SueinSac" back in 1999 and I lived near Sacramento, CA. But in 2006 we had to move , so...
Now I'm in Texas, and--sorry, native Texans--still working on the enthusiasm part of being here. When I started reading the DISboards again in 2006, I was biding my time in a little apartment with three kids, school was out for summer, and it kept raining like I've never seen before. Feeling a bit(?) trapped, and having every version of "SueinTexas" rejected as a possible screen name, "Escape Artist" just flowed out of my fingers into the keyboard, without me even really thinking about it.
It's a pretty good description on my vacation style. I get antsy if I stay home too long, and am always cooking up some new getaway.
I also have a special needs son whose future I am very worried about. So my little "Escape Artist" handle also works for me when I get too bogged down in IEP's and medical specialists and worries about the future. Escape from real life, take me away!
Hi- I'm Wendy from Texas (LONE-STAR's DW) and I love Tinkerbell- ever since the computer in the Animations tour in MGM said I was like Tinkerbell... it also said my DH was like Captain Hook.
Well, I was once asked if I intended to be a widow by my sig WDWBOUND, but it actually means "obviously" Walt Disney World Bound and came up with it as we had a 1994 Fleetwood Bounder at the time.
Howdy...just discovering this board cuz my hubby and I really want to get a teardrop and join y'all at FW (He loves WL...so I think he'll accept FW as a more budget friendly alternative).
Anyway...I used to be DaniDownUnder when we were still in Australia...but we moved back to the US this past fall so I changed nicks.
'alphabetsoup' refers to my career...I'm a university lecturer with a BA, finishing a PhD that uses EM, CA, and MCA to study IRC which is a form of CMC...geeze...I could go on and on and on!
Well, I use to post on this forum all the time a few years ago, but we stopped camping for awhile and started cruising instead. Now, we are going back to camping with our two Boston Terriers (Hope & JR) as we hated having to leave them behind when we cruised.
My name- M for Mickey (my fav.character-though everyone calls me Minnie at work). mketeer for mouseketeer. I worked for Disney for 10 years beginning my career at the Disney Store back when Disney still owned the stores and ended my Disney stint at DRC.
