Your childs nickname

When my DS12 was born I started calling him pumpkin doodle, thank goodness that one didn't stick!

That's so funny, because my DD12 has had the nickname Punky Doodle since she was born! It started out as Pumpkin, which was quickly shortened to Punky, and at some point, we added the Doodle part (not quite sure why!).
Her name is Ashlyn, so we also call her Ash, Ashie, and Ashie Mash. She is also is called the usual...Baby girl, Princess, and Angel. She recently had scoliosis correction surgery, so her new nickname is the Bionic Woman, because of all the hardware she has inside her now!

It's all better than what my parents used to call me...Peanut Whistle. Don't ask, I have no idea, and they don't either!!!

My Jen has been called Bood (like book with a d), Boodalee, Bub, Bubbee, Jump, Jumper, Jumpin, Jumpin Kaka (story there; when my DH was 5 he saw a toad hopping in his yard, and went running to his mom telling her he saw a "jumpin' kaka"... since he told that story and we already called Jen Jumper, it kinda morphed, lol)

My mom only ever called her Tiger; still does, even at 14. :lovestruc

DS11 (Tucker Lewis) has been called Tuckie Lou since birth. He now also goes by Bubba, Bubby, and Brother. When he is being nasty we call him Terd Bird!

DD7 (Avery Elaine) goes by Lainey, Sissy, Baby Bop, Stinkerbell, and Cindersmella. Her Daddy calls her Fart Blossom, Squirt Blossom, and Squirt.

My soon to be 11 year old daughter is Abigail. Obviously, this got shortened to Abby and from there, Abba, Abba-Dabba-Do, Abba-Do, Doobs and Doobie.

We call my friend's DD (Abigail) Abbigator and Gator.

going through these reminded me we also call both goober. even funnier- in line at splash mountain last fall, there was a family infront of us, the dad heard me say mvoe up goober....he said did you just call her goober? i said yeah, he said thats too funny, me, my dad and my son all had the nickname goober too. he said three generations of it, and we come to disney and run into someone else who calls their kid goober....what are the odds?

dont know where i got that one either.

DD was Punkin as a toddler... we also called her Moo (Meggie Moo) Mooster...variations of that mostly.

DS was Danger Boy for a long time.... we call him Jackster (Jack)..... We call him Ralphie a lot too (A Christmas Story).

Our lilprincess: is called Emma Clare. We call her Emma Ottter, or just Otter.

Backstory on that: Growing up, I remember watching, around Christmas, a Muppet special called "Emmitt Otter's JugBand Christmas". I always thought that was kinda cute, so...Emmitt Otter became Emma Otter.

We also call her Shnurgie. Have NO clue where that came from.

I loved Emmitt Otter. "Look at the birds up in the tree!" "We're not birds, we're a jug band!"

I guess I call my two DS's monkeys a lot, and lovey's and all those endearing names that moms call their kids. But Joshua gets named Josh Posh and Princess because he likes to co-ordinate his clothes perfectly and will spend a lot of time doing his hair and is typically high-maintenance. (I know we are so bad, and I sometimes wonder if he's going to be on a "couch" later in life telling a doctor about his parents calling him Princess:rotfl:). Dad calls him Bud most of the time.
Nicholas is always called Nicky by me or my "Baby Boy", and Dad calls him Minnie Me because obviously he looks just like his Daddy. His regular nickname is Thumper though. He is a bit flat footed and it doesn't matter where he is I can find him by the sound of his footsteps. It worked great when he was small and didn't want to stay in a stroller, I always knew where he was.

My DS13 is Joby Doo, Joby Doby Do, Jobe My DS6 is Stinky, Stinky Butt, E, E Monger, or Boo. My DH call Joby "Wheels" and Ethan "Rat".

The Goober story is funny because that is my nickname for my DH and his for me is Geek. Always great when in a store and we call each other that. :rotfl:

Our daughter Taylor has been called Bean since I was pregnant with her. We also call her Tali. Tali Bean is what she answers to usually.;)

Riley is shortened to Ry. His middle name is Martin so, we usually shorten that and call him Riley Mart. He tells us often that he is not a grocery store! lol! He was called Bugs at birth too so, he will answer to Riley Bugs as well. Poor kid, lol.

Sean has just one. Seanie. But, he is 12.5 now so...I am only allowed to call him that outside of school.:lovestruc

I used to call ds "Bug" when he was little. Now he's "Little Dude" even though he's as tall as I am. :rotfl:

Dd is Squirt. :lovestruc

My oldest daughter, Emerson Claire, is called Emme, Em, eclaire, or muffin top(the best part of the muffin)

My youngest, Allison Kelly, is poopyscoops ( a name given to her at birth by her sister) or Boohbah a word she just kept saying so we just started calling her that. Her friends at school call her Alli.

My girls (17 and 14 :)) are Crystalbug and Jamie-kins. And I've recently taken to calling them both Chicklita.

My DD is Jamason and I call her "George" or "Fred" I started dling that because when you are coaching girls softball and have to get her attention.

DD is either Lolly or Lady Jane (real name Angela) - Her friends call her Pinot

DS is Pege (real name is Kevin) - His friends call him Goot

DS 1, William has lots of cute little names, I usally call him b, b bear (short for bunny bear), or pooh, although latley I have found myself calling him "nerd monkey", as in "Hey NerdMonkey, your gonna hurt yourself if you keep doing that!" DH calls him bub a lot and when we talk about him we both refer to him as "little man". DH and I don't agree on a short version of William, I like Will and he likes Billy, which no offense to anyone, but I can't stand, so we both call him William. We figure he will let us know what he wants to be called when he is older.

My niece Elise (I love that that rhymes!) is usally called, Lisey, Liseybean, or beanie. Her dad calls her beaner though.

My nephew Holden dosn't really have a nickname, I call him "H" sometimes or Monk, short for monkey, but he really prefers to be called by his full name.
