1)
7) Which of the following US Presidents is the only one NOT to have visited a Disney theme park since the opening of Disneyland in 1955? Johnson, Ford, Carter, Clinton?

7. Lyndon Johnson. Although he did make his famous "I am not a crook speech" at Disney's Contemporary Resort, he never visited the park.
Uh, Nixon was the crook that denied it at the Contemporary. He only hired crooks.

I've merged a newer trivia thread into the thread that's already in progress. :)

Sorry... I haven't been on since I posted the question.

Darth Joey is correct. The country bear jamboree... It also premiered at Disney World first before Disneyland got a copy of it. Of course they had two theaters for the show. It's still the same show as it was opening day, even though for about 10 years they added the Christmas show and Summer Vacation Hoe Down to the normal show. It still runs on a tape and has to be rewound before each show. This also made it easier for the changing of the other shows, besides imagineering having to change some of the bear's furs and props for the show.

Dumbo had a revamp - they added more dumbos
Cinderella's carousel - added more horses
Carousel of Progress - ending has changed, and the sherman brothers wrote a new song for GE, "now is the time". Since the ending of GE sponsership, it has been replaced with the original song "great big beautiful tomorrow". GE wanted people to go out and buy thier products today, rather than waiting till something new came out.
Tea Cups - added a roof
Tiki's - changed the whole show
Astro Orbitors - name change/vehicle change
Trains - the park only opened with 3 trains. The fourth train didn't start running till 2 months later. The 3 trains are originally the same. But lets not forget that they added a station as well for Mickey's Birthdayland.
Speedway - Track was shortened to add Birthdayland

What attraction has had the most changes made to it at MK?? And can you name all the changes??

What happened to the train from ft wilderness?

What attraction at EPCOT is still the same as opening day?

Wow you got alot of info! Thanks so much i love it!!! :woohoo:

I will guess that the Hall of Presidents has had the most changes. No, I can't name them all.

The fourth train at MK is the only one you can debark from on both sides. That is why it is used for the opening ceremony only. All the rest are 'You exit from the right' trains.

Cindy's Castle may be the attraction at MK with the most changes. Birthday cake, Millinium, King Stephan's to Cindy's Banquet, adding the stage, changing the show. Christmas Lighting. The coolest thing was during the Fireworks in the Princess and Pirate party, when they made the castle look like it was on fire.

Destination Moon/Mars/Alien Encounter/Stitch may be the other.

AS for the Country Bears, it may not be a change, but, the sound isn't the same. There is music missing from the finale'. After they sing the first verse of 'Bear Tracks', the music disappears and, while the bears still shout, there is nothing else until Big Al starts singing and then all the bears sing. In the past, the band played during the bridge....now there is nothing.

Conan the Librarian: Little wrong on the trains. There's 4 steam trains, and it's the same train every morning that does the opening show, but there's 5 sets of passenger cars. The set they use for the opening show only has three cars so they steam train can be seen for the entire show. If you notice during the day the engine is pulled forward so you don't see it while it's in the station. If you drive around back of the MK, you'll notice the five doors on the round house for the trains.
So if it's a really really busy day, they'll pull of the morning show train and attach it to the regular passanger car, if not, they'll just leave it back there and pull out the other three.
One of the trains actually has the whistle from the river boat. They had it in the back for refurbishment and got dropped. That's why there's only one riverboat now.
If you listen carefully, the riverboat and the trains at Frontierland and toontown will play "the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" song.

And I meant as far as how times an attraction has been changed over. And that would be Buzz Lightyear. It's had five different rides housed in it.
if you had wings, if you could fly, take flight, dream flight, and buzz. Not sure of the order...

OMG can someone tell me WHERE on the ride this scene is?? We went on the Pooh ride like 5 times during our last trip a few months ago and we searched for that scene every time without luck of finding it-:confused3

In Owl's house, I believe, Mr. Toad hands a deed to OWL, NOT Pooh. If someone already posted this, my apologies. But I'm pretty sure deed goes to Owl, noot Pooh.

Also, the liscence plates on RnRC are UGOGIRL, 10KILMO 2FAST4U, H8TRAFFC, and BUHBYE. This isn't really a "secret," but I found it interesting.

Again, sorry if someone posted this already. :goodvibes

I hate to have one post after the other (unless someone posts between when I write this and when I post it :lmao:) but I feel this had to be said.

A great way to beat WDWWM (Walt Disney World Withdrawl Mode) AKA missing WDW, is the soundtrack. I listen to it whenever I get the Missing-WDW blues. Listening to it while I'm on the DisBoards (like now ;)) is especially awesome!

THat wasn't really a secret, but some people may not know about it. Hope this helps! :goodvibes

What soundtrack do you mean? And where can you get one outside of the World?? Thanks for the help as we just got back last week and I am going through withdrawal now

Sorry, but this is a little vauge...

There's about a bazillion different albums. The one I have with (most) of the attractions music from all of WDW is called "Walt Disney World- Official Album (2006) Where the Magic Lives". I got mine at WDW, so I'd say try eBay, or Amazon may have it. I'd search for Walt Disney World Official Album. ;)

I also have a parade album. It's called "Magic In The Streets Parade Memories" and it has the music for the (some of these are retired parades) Share a Dream Come True parade, the Stars and Motorcars parade, and Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. :3dglasses

There's also quite a few more CD's, so I'd just play around an eBay and Amazon and see which one(s) sound best for ya! :goodvibes

PS: Sorry this post is so long! :upsidedow

~Dcanoli- I tried to PM and email you. Can you please send me the tips as a document. Thanks :-)

I've merged a newer trivia thread into the thread that's already in progress. :)

What's THAT about???? I was following a nice helpful little thread with TIPS about touring the parks in anticipation of our upcoming trip.....

TRIVIA is NOT tips........

While I think Disney trivia is great, it's not what I was interested in right now.....
