Your BEST WDW theme park secret! Part II

aw.. was looking forward to pointing it out to my son... we call him the cookiemonster..

1. Toon Town's Laughing. Just past the entrance to the Roger Rabbit
Ride is a bunch of boxes. All looking like they were just dropped down
off the truck. Each one makes a noise. My personal favorite has to be the
laughing box, but it is a tie between that and the mooing box. Plus, pull
the door just down the way, press the door bell or listen on the phone to
hear the police on the line.

2. Look at the windows in Main Street USA. It is easy to walk through
Main Street USA to get to the attractions, but take a minute to look up
and read all the windows. When? Waiting for the parade or the
fireworks! There are some great word plays on the windows, but my
absolute favorite is Jimmy Cricket Motivational Speaker'. Also listed is
his motto 'If you wish upon a star. 'Toward the end of the street, check
out the window that is waist high just past the café. Here you will see a
interesting collection of bottles and items across the world that has to do
with Coca-Cola Soda.

3. Snow White's Fish. On the right side of the castle (coming in) every 30
minutes the fish appear in the pond in front of Snow White and the Seven
dwarfs (carved out of white stone.) Plus, you can hear her sing as they
come out for their stroll. Ask a cast member the exact time so you don't
have to wait too long.

. The rabbit at Mickey Mouse's house. Once you go through the house,
you go into Mickey's garden. There is a line of Carrots and his garden
looks beautiful. BUT WAIT!! The little rodent is eating his prize garden
and the carrots disappear. This happens every three to five minutes. Very
Cute!

Disney Land:

GO ON BOTH SIDES OF THE LINE AT THE MATTERHORN
RIDE. It isn't just a mountain in the middle of the park it's an adventure!!
The south side of the ride is slower than the North side. DO BOTH!!!
The kids will thank you!!

Buzz Light Year Attraction photos. It's FREE and you won't know
until the end of the ride how it looks. But somewhere along your space
journey you get your picture taken. The end of the ride presents four
computers where you can find your photo and mail it to yourself. These
photos are always really funny and the kids smile more with these than
those we buy for $12.95 at the front. Take a minute to find yours and
send it to your email

Disneyland

The train ride to the Grand Canyon. If you miss the railroad ride,
you'll miss the dinosaurs and the trip to the Grand Canyon. You have to
go! The kids will love it!!! Go on the train full circle when you are really
tired and need a break midday. It will take about 25 minutes and it is a
lot of fun. Try to sit in a car that makes you sit to the side instead of to
the front.

Disneyland

The Poison Apple in front of Snow White's Ride. It was only the last
couple of years that we found out about the apple. Standing in line on a
hot summer day there were some kids fighting about who was going to
touch the apple next. Who care was my thought. Well, my younger one
pointed out that the kids wanted to touch it because each time a loud
witch laughs and it also has a couple unique sayings. The apple is in
front of the ride, just before the entrance pathway. You can't miss its
shiny gold presence. Put your hand over the top and squeeze. This is
awesome!!

The Rope in the Indiana Jones Attraction Line. Just before you get to
the viewing area to see the brief film, you wind around the well. On the
well, in big letters reads a sign that say 'DO NOT PULL', so translated in
Disney that means PULL THE ROPE IMMEDIATELY. There usually is
a race between my kids of who will pull it first. And when it is pulled,
loud noises come from the floor or a man yells up to stop. Not only is it
funny, but a really great little amusement built into the line! The well is
half way up the line

The Tiki room pre show. If you get to the show early enough you can
hear all the gods in the area talk just before the show starts. Interacting
with all the elements, the birds, trees, and water talk and give a little
history of the traditions.

If you stay at the Magic Kingdom through the fireworks show to park closing, you will be leaving with thousands of others also trying to get to the main parking lot and their cars. As you exit the Magic Kingdom, you'll no doubt notice huge lines to get on the Disney Transportation Buses, the Steamboats across the Lagoon, and especially up the ramp to the Monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center. What you will also notice is that while those three transportation methods have lines and long waits comparable to the most popular rides, the one ramp that is sparsely used is the Monorail to Resorts. Save yourself lots of time, pushing, shoving, short fuses and all around inconvenience after a long day of walking - Take the Monorail to the Resorts. First stop is the Contemporary Hotel, second stop? you may have guessed it by now, The Transportation and Ticket Center! Since the sign reads To Resorts, people looking to get to the TTC follow that sign.
Try this Sneaky Trick on your next visit and you will find that you not only get to your car faster, but will beat the biggest crunch of cars exiting - because all those people are still waiting for a ride to the TTC!

If you plan to eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern, try and plan your dinner so that you are done 20 minutes before the Electric Light Parade starts; just step out onto the porch for a great view. supposedly you can see the Halloween Parade too even if you don't have the extra event ticket.

Is this MK or DL?

These are all clearly Disneyland tips; nothing to do with WDW.

MK: If you have a dinner reservation for Tony's town square, ask for seating outside - You get a great view of the Parade and get to have your own Desserts party!!

MK: We had a AAA Parade viewing booking and no one even asked us for it.. so if you don't have a booking for the parade, it is still worth it to try!

DHS: Block Party bash is done twice (once on each block) and there are 3 floats (Toy Story was the first, Monsters Inc. second and the Bug's life - third). Position yourself in such a way that you see whichever one you want (Characters tend to stay near "their" floats)

sorry.. these were secrets I copied from a website. They said they were for WDW, but Since this is my second trip, I wasn't sure. My zeal to participate got ahead of me.

sorry again.. But atleast I wont be looking for these things when I go this Friday! Thanks for that!

If you've watched this Block Party (Disney Studios) parade already, be ware.... it pretty much blocks up the center of the park, and I could find no way around it (even going through stores). then it moves and blocks other sections... so try to get to the attractions you want to see before the parade starts.
