Hi,
wondering where some of your best/favorite spots are for photos? Specifically Epcot and different resorts, but if you have any spots in the other parks I would love to hear them too. We always try to get some photos by the signs of each attraction...but looking to get more creative. Thanks!

Hi! My suggestion isn't in Epcot, or resorts... but it's good!
We like to go up tot he Main Street train station, looking out over Main Street. Makes for GREAT pictures, with the castle in the background.

Every trip we get a picture of the whole family in front of "Partners" in MK--last time it was dark and the volunteer taking it cut Walt's head off, but oh well!
In Epcot I like to take one just past the walkway going from WS to FW, facing Spaceship Earth.
Our first trip I took a picture I love of DH and all the kids (then 2,5 and 8 they were so little! ) in front of a "tiki god" statue at the Poly. We stayed there after that, but since the remodeling I can't for the life of me find that particular tiki god.
At the Boardwalk there is one of those cutout pictures, of a man and woman in turn of the century garb, with the faces empty--the girls love getting into that and getting their picture taken.

I loved the ones I took from across the WS waters towards SE, that way we had it in the background. Other ideas: at the exit of Space Mountain, there's an area where you can sit in cars like the SM cars, and it's really cute, with a "spacey" background; with the big monkey under the tree of life as you're going into ITTBAB, it's really cute; in front of the smaller fountain at the entrance to EPCOT; outside the gates to EPCOT with good views of SE; at the top of the inside of the Land, with the hot air balloons in the background, in Honey I shrunk the kids playground in the big roll of kodak film; with all the busts in the MGM Film and Television awards thingy

That's all I have for now, I'll check back in if I think of more!

Did you know that when they built the ToL, there were no primates on the tree? Jane Goodall was one of a handfull of folks Disney had look over things in the park before it was completed. She noticed the lack of primates. So, in her honor, Disney not only put more primates on the ToL, but they added the stunning ape that is the photo op location that you are speaking of. The name of that monkey is David Greybeard. He was one of Jane Goodall's favorites. Mickey

At EPCOT, my favorite is from the bridge between UK and France looking over to the France Pavillion across the water.

At the resorts, one of the best is in front of the waterfall at Wildreness Lodge.

And for the other parks, of course there's the Castle. I like the view from either the Tomorrowland of Liberty Square Bridges. Also, all of the statues in MK (Goofy at the Expo Hall, Roy Disney and Minnie at Town Square, Cinderella at the Fountain in Fantasyland, Cornelius Coot in Toontown, and of course all the ones at the Hub) are great for pictures as well. There's also a good number of cute picture oppertunities inside the Expo Hall as well. And at MGM, I'm partial to the Mickey Ave. sign near Soundstage 1. It's just so classic Disney to me. :D

When going down Main Street, on either side off the main path their are little cul-de-sacs with fancey white iron benches in from of flower carts. These are perfect to fit 2 or 3 :crowded:for a nice pretty photo.

I also like the rose garden with the castle as a back-drop. :wave2:

One of my favorite pics of DD was taken at Epcot on the walkway from FW to WS. As others mentioned, I faced Spaceship Earth, but I had DD stand on the edge of a planter or something there and I kneeled down, so that looking up at her she was framed by SE. Made for a nice shot.

Some of our favorites from Epcot are with the fountains in the background. There are some really pretty fountains. I don't know how frequent of a visitor you are, but if this isn't a once in a lifetime trip, but more of a regular basis, be sure to find one spot that won't change and take a photo there. Ours has become the Goofy statue in Magic Kingdom. We like our troll pictures too from Epcot.

thanks so much for all the replies..I am putting all of them on my list in my planning book for when we leave next week! Any more ideas?
