Hi there,
I am new to all this but what a brilliant website, we are off to Florida on Feb 19th, I have so many questions to ask, but anyone who can give me there best bit of advice would be so appreciated, we are staying for 2 weeks and hoping to visit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Universal, IOAdventure, Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Wet n Wild, we have not brought any tickets yet, so advice on where to buy, what to wear, the weather, what day is best to visit the parks, what not to miss, rides, fireworks, shows etc........Where is the best place to shop, we are staying in a villa in Clermont and renting a car. What are the best golf courses nearby? Thanks in advance, Kelly :worship:

If you don't already have an Unofficial Guide to Disneyworld, I'd start with one of those. There's lots of good websites with all kinds of information, two of my favorites are: allearsnet.com and mousesavers.com

That's just for the Disney stuff, the other theme parks aren't familiar to me.

You've got your work cut out for you, that's for sure! Have fun!

p.s. we've been in late February before, and the weather can be spotty. At least bring something warm to wear, just in case!

Kelly,
Orange National Golf Course if very nice. Just got my dad a GC for christmas. Hey we are staying in in that area too! However we are going in March .... PM me, we can compare notes! :)

Read this board as often as you can. You will get website information that will save you lots of money such as mousesavers.com. The folks here know more about Disney than the staff at Disney. I find it out here first. Have a wonderful time. It sounds like a great trip. Don't get too caught up in trying to rush to see everything. Enjoy the moment. Soak it in. It is magic.

I also recommend the Unofficial Guide, it has the most comprehensive information for both Disney and Universal, not sure where to get info on the other parks. Its also very fun to read!!If I were to pick the single most important bit of advice, it would be to arrive at the parks early. There is sooooo much information and things to do but just this one tidbit will save you lots of time waiting in line and allow you to do much more than you would otherwise. These boards an infinite source of information and the most up to date place to get it.The Guide will give you a great overview to start from. Have fun!! ::MinnieMo

If you think you want to eat at ANY of the sit down resturaunts in WDW, call now and try to get reservations. Its kind of close to your arrivial time, but there are always cancelations. Feb is a busy time and your more likely to get turned away at the door. If you have kids the character meals are a great way to get up close and personal with the characters instead of waiting in long lines in the parks.

Keep reading this board and absorb as much information as possible. Go to disney.com and write down the park hours for the time you'll be there (same for universal and sea world). This will help in planning. Also look for any special events that may be going on and check for what time the parades are going to be. See the calandar page at disney.com.

You've already made a smart move by coming here. Its amazing how many people head to Orlando and just wing it. They then become very disapointed and don't have as good a time because they find out later that they missed out on something or find out when they get there that they can't do something they wanted.

Knowledge is power. :)
