Your backpack of choice?

I love my Osprey women's daypack. It's small - perfect size. Fits on all rides even under the seat on Soarin.

I Normally use a Vera Bradley side hipster if I'm traveling light but otherwise I use this:

Its a little big but perfect for carrying sunscreen, flip flops and extra clothes for water rides.

I've always used the Baggallini Messenger bag and love it!!
I'm switching to a Vera Bradley Campus backpack for our next trip though because it's the first time with the baby, and I definitely need to carry something bigger now.

I just bought this one and took it to Disneyland last month

The gray was backordered when I ordered it and it looks like it's again sold out and back ordered but other colors seem to be available. I really would have preferred black to match my luggage/other backpack but grey seemed more sunlight friendly.

Light weight, about half size to a regular backpack so not bulky, comfortable straps, I actually used the front strap as well and that was very easy to use and helped a ton, mesh pocket on side fit my water bottle and it was not 'too' warm. (let's face it any thing on your back in the heat is a bit warm but the fabric did at least breath more than my usual backpack)

My only gripe was that the buckles hit right against my arms where my sleeve stopped and that can tend to bug me so I had to really work to find the right place to adjust them.

I like bag less or to carry a small VB mini hipster but as I needed to have a jacket early and late but not mid day and I like carrying my water bottle this was a great option.

We use our kid's backpack. Fits all we need without being huge. It does have 2 side pouches that can hold water bottles. We fill up at water fountains and bring flavor packets, it saves money plus no waiting in lines.

I use a Bagallini - they are the best! http://www.baggallini.com/backpacks...vZ1daGHKsRGARg4Fmnn4kDUVY9hoCqeHw_wcB&start=7

Mine is a little different since I've had it for years but essentially it's the same design. Mine has a water bottle holder on one side and a cell phone holder on the other (this one looks like two water bottle holders?) And mine has a zip pocket on the strap - great for holding those old paper fast passes. There is a pocket for everything and it keeps everything super organized. Anything Bagallini - you really can't go wrong with.

Ever since we took the kids (starting when DS was 19 months) we have used a Baggallini Messenger bag. It worked perfect for toddlers with formula, snacks and diapers. Now it works for ponchos, snacks and meds for my DD.

I vote for this too! Love my Bagallini - it fits so much and organized.

I carried a Vera Bradley pack a couple times, but the non-padded straps started to hurt my shoulders after a couple days. So, now I carry a regular LL Bean pack. It is probably a little bigger than we really need, but it is nice to be able to stuff a purchase in it if I need too.

We take turns carrying the Adidas Capital Sling, single strap backpack. It's light, has plenty of space, external pockets for water bottle(s), and having only one strap with a buckle makes taking it on and off to board rides easy.

Here's the one I use! I don't find things with one shoulder strap (sling bags/messenger bags/purses) to be comfortable to carry around the parks all day. My DD is also 8 and it's just the two of us when we go. I carry snacks, a water bottle, ponchos, autograph book/markers, extra charger, etc. So this backpack is smaller than a normal sized one, but big enough to fit all of this. It's also a good size so that when I get on any ride, I can just put my legs through the backpack straps and pull the straps up over my knees (this may be hard to visualize lol) so that it's secure...especially for the faster rides/roller coasters. Depending on the season (i.e. if I need a place for sweatshirts for at night), I carry a larger North Face backpack instead.

I use an old one of my kids from when they were in middle school. It's been the perfect size and works well.

I did just pick up a smaller floral one at Burlington Coat Factory yesterday that I am looking forward to trying - the inside is light colored so it would be easier to see inside but it is missing the outside pocket that I like so I'm hoping that won't be too annoying for me.

I have a Baggalini Messenger bag and it is a great sling backpack! It is small but I get our ponchos, my tiny umbrella, a small hooded towel, bandaids, sunscreen, and even our neck towels in it, and a water bottle in the pocket! I need a bigger one this year, though, because DH will not be with us and I will be carrying outfit changes with no helper.

I do not like bags with the mesh on the back - took a small Eddie Bauer bag my first family trip, and it pilled ALL of my shirts. I was so upset!

I'm glad to hear some of you take the bags on the rides with you. If your bag is small enough, is that pretty much standard on all rides?
