Does Cape May have the make your own omelettes section?
I can't vote b/c I can't decide!!!
Our top 1 faves are Crystal Palace (pre-park opening) and 1900 Park Fare.
Side note- we HATED (and I mean HATED) breakfast at Tusker House. Biggest waste of time and $ our last trip.
We're trying Chef Mickey's for breakfast this trip. Surely, the breakfast food has to be better than the dinner food!

It was a combination of things...the biggest problem was the character interaction. Every single character had lackluster energy and barely interacted with the kids. I thought it was just us, but I heard other patrons saying things like "that Mickey wasn't nearly as sweet as the one at Chef Mickey's" or "mommy, why wouldn't Goofy goof around with me like he did yesterday?" Daisy was the biggest letdown. It was our first time meeting her all trip and she was so standoffish that my kids actually thought she was kind of mean. We did 6 character meals and this was the only time we'd encountered such a wet blanket bunch of characters. It seriously felt like every character needed a strong cup of coffee. Considering it's a character meal and that's what you're really paying for- I felt like I threw my $ away that morning. They also seated us in the section where Daisy does her parade, which they said was a "table upgrade," but since the parade is sooooo small (compared to Crystal Palace and Akershus) that we suddenly had every parent in the restaurant crowding in on us and bumping us. The food was also a bit of a let down. I mean- the normal breakfast items like eggs and sausage were fine, but the more "exotic" items were disappointingly bland... and a few things either cooked too long or sat too long b/c they were horribly dried out (odd since we had the 8:10 am ADR slot). Our server also wasn't the brightest- my kids were sad about giving up their musical instruments, but the server and I gave them a speech about how other kids will need them...just to have her put the bin instruments right behind us (they weren't there earlier) - causing major drama with the kids. At least that was towards the end of our meal and we were ready to book and get out into the park. Of course, it didn't help that our bus was a bit late - causing us to sprint from the entrance back to Tusker, but that's not the restaurant's fault. And at least I knew Donald didn't sign autographs before going into this- so I was able to prep the kids for this in advance.
