Oh, that is just sick. On the other hand, this is soap opera land and nothing is impossible there! I can so see DH saying something like this. Because when I'm watching what I've Tivo'ed, he is of course watching even though he says he's not.

Is it just me or is anyone else sick of Dru calling everyone "sweet?"

Yep, and he was married to Tracy AND Ashley, sisters! Has Brad slept with just about every female?? He is getting close! Jack was also married to Nikki and was Nick's step dad (he even saved him from drowning as a child), and they have both been with Phyllis. I think ALL of the families are affected by these degrees of incest! EW!

I agree with you. He has been MORE than mean to her. But, she has done some sneaky/wrong things with the company. That aside, Jack is still being awful towards her. To go that far out with the funeral thing... that is just PAST mean, IMHO.

Jack and all were gone when Gloria and family arrived. The minister had to tell her that the funeral was over.

and then when Gloria got home she ripped him...and he was SOOOO mean to her.

But from what I hear he may get "visited" by John soon and get ripped for how he is treating Gloria. We will see what actually happens soon I guess.

I love Jack! Glo-zilla deserved it. She has brought nothing but havoc into the Abbott household. John was so blind to her. She was directly involved with Jack getting fired from Jabot, messed with Ashley's face cream, and she never was legally married to John. I hope they all find out everything she has done and they sweep her away back to Michigan.

I totally agree with this statement.

I never really loved Gloria's character either, but I LOVE her as an actress. I think she is great at what she does. Usually I can't stand the "villainess (sp?) type"...
but I love her.

Did anyone else notice all the things that Jack was spouting at the funeral about what the name "John Abbott" stands for - integrity; honesty; kindness; generosity; truthfulness; loyalty; - blah, blah, blah - and how he has the same name and fully intends to "live up to his father's image"...

Ummmmm.. I think he blew it already when he intentionally gave his father's wife the wrong time for the funeral..

I'd love to see Gloria knock the entire Abbott family off that high and mighty pedestal they sit on while lording their importance over everyone else..

The one thing they seem to have forgotten is that their father truly loved Gloria - even with all of her faults - and for that alone, they should treat her with at least a modicum of respect.. Poor John senior.. He would be SO ashamed of their latest antics..

OMG...I watched it tonight on Soap Net and was thinking the exact same thing...that how can I feel any sympathy for Jack at this sad time in his life when he pulls a stunt like this on Gloria. He is as cold as Victor (used to be)...basically he is NO John Abbott. John was always a kind, honest man. Jack !!
